Estimated Dates of the Events of the 1 Year Great Tribulation of the Earth

No, whats dumb is attempting to do the very thing Jesus said can't be done. Do you know who Harold Camping was? Or any of the other date setters? They were all wrong and you are too. No one knows the day or the hour...Pretty clear. But then it appears youre trying to dip your toe into both the...

Estimated Dates of the Events of the 1 Year Great Tribulation of the Earth

The epistle of barnabas is inspired scripture? Did it show up in the lists of the early church fathers regarding the canon? Jerome for instance?

Estimated Dates of the Events of the 1 Year Great Tribulation of the Earth

Jesus is God. He authored Revelation which means He knows what was in it. Nowhere in Rev does it say go ahead and figure out when Jesus will return. All Jesus said is that these things will happen soon. And Gods timetable isn't something we can discern.

Estimated Dates of the Events of the 1 Year Great Tribulation of the Earth

And yet the bible says no one knows the day or the hour. So why should anyone believe you over scripture?

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

Read the last few posts. Duh!

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

Just like every other catholic that can't answer questions. Just claim the other guy is wrong:rolleyes: As though that's a meaningful apologetic.

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

Of course not. I just made four points you completely ignored. Keep your fingers in your ears yelling la la la la....

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

Right, plug your ears and disregard everything I said. Typical.

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

As an act of obedience ya. Necessary for salvation, not in the least. We are saved by faith.

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

How so? Even Peters confession in Matt 16 Jesus said wasn't of his own doing but God the Father revealed it. When the Father draws us He makes His son known to us.

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

The solas are a preversion? Placing Gods written word as the highest standard is a perversion? Believing that faith alone saves is a perversion. In other words God does it all is a perversion? Think about it.

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

Nothing confusing here. A. The water in Noah's flood didn't save anyone. It killed everyone in it. B. The ark saved all those inside. A type of Christ.. C. ...not as a removal of dirt from the body...i.e. water. D. ...an appeal to God for a good conscience..i.e. your public declaration for...

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

They looked forward to the cross, we look back. Its all by faith. Read Heb 11. If water baptism is necessary for us, it would have been necessary for them. God is not a God of confusion.

Beware of Men's Leaven on Rome

The faith was delivered once for all. Not sure why that is difficult to understand. Doctrines and dogmas coming down later....some much later are not biblical doctrines or dogmas. That also shouldn't be too hard to understand. Ah the old lets cast doubt on Gods word. Never miss an opportunity...

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

So there are two plans of salvation? Didn't know that. Can you spell out for us what those in the o.t. needed to do for salvation and how the n.t. is different?

Beware of Men's Leaven on Rome

Concerning doctrine, ya. Jude 3 ...contend for the faith once for all delivered to the saints. "Once for all", past tense. The faith was delivered in the first century not parsed out over a millennia or two.

Is water baptism necessary for salvation?

John 3:5 has nothing to do with water baptism. If that is necessary for salvation then all the o.t saints are toast. Salvation is by believing in Jesus as your savior, not being sprinkled with H2O.

Beware of Men's Leaven on Rome

I simply used your statement and applied it to the teachings of the rcc. They are not in the bible therefore not true.

Beware of Men's Leaven on Rome

What distinctly roman catholic doctrines or dogmas are based on scripture? None! Take marys assumption for instance. Karl Keating the founder of catholic answers says its not found anywhere in the bible. By your definition it cannot be true. And on this point i'd agree.

    Fundamentalism

Dogmas of the rcc are irrevocable. According to catholicism there is no salvation outside of the rcc. What about mormonism, jws, others...
