    King James Version Only...?

No, the ancient translators were inspired by God to create the first legal English Bible. The modern translators are inspired by money.

    King James Version Only...?

The best translators to the copies of the original text eventually died after they created the KJV. Strongs is now the head translator for modernists.

    King James Version Only...?

The original text does not exist anymore.

    King James Version Only...?

The KJV is the plumbline for all language translations to compare to.

Can Someone Please Define What a Christian is?

Which verse do you want saying the Holy Ghost falls or enters?

    King James Version Only...?

One reason, among many, the modern "translators" change the wordings so drastically from each other is to make the Bible explain THEIR beliefs, rather than to adhere to ancient scriptural beliefs.

    King James Version Only...?

No, the modern versions are corrupted. We are made in the image of the man Christ Jesus per Romans 5:14(whom God knew from the foundation of the earth). The modern version "translators" did not read the Bible they were tinkering with.

Can Someone Please Define What a Christian is?

Emotions originate internally and the Spirit originates from the external.

Can Someone Please Define What a Christian is?

Yes, per Acts 2:38, we have both water AND Spirit birth combined. Water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ FOR THE remission of sins and Spirit baptism to enable the sin free saint to walk in the Spirit.

Can Someone Please Define What a Christian is?

That was unique to the first outpouring as a sign that the promise has come(the sound of a rushing mighty wind also). I speak in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance as they did, though. I obeyed Acts 2:38 to qualify for the remission of my sins as they did, also. I was surrounded...

Can Someone Please Define What a Christian is?

Yes, God disciplines His children to get them to walk in the Spirit. His children are first qualified by obeying Acts 2:38 to be His children. Think of it as kind of an initiation rite into the body of Christ.

Can Someone Please Define What a Christian is?

I will simplify it... A Christian obeys Acts 2:38 to be saved the way the 3000 were at Pentecost and walks in the Spirit afterwards.

    Are Christians Sinners?

Obeying Acts 2:38 frees us from the Law, and walking in the Spirit keeps us free. Everyone else is born under the Law.

    Church Bashing

Are you talking about the unity of the faith per Acts 2:38 and the 3000 at Pentecost?

    Church Bashing

If someone skips Acts 2:38, he is not in the body of Christ. He is in a "Christian club".

    Church Bashing

Are you talking about the church of 3000 at Pentecost that obeyed Peter per Acts 2:38 or some other "church"?
  17. Truther

    Are Christians Sinners?

Yes, as long as the name of Jesus is invoked at our initial baptism.

    Are Christians Sinners?

Of course the saint must walk in the light and reflect. My question for folks is this....."what have you done, other than obey Acts 2:38, to find remission of your sins"?

    Are Christians Sinners?

I guarantee Paul reflected on the name of Jesus that remitted his sins during his baptism in Acts 9 as he exited this world. He could never forget the experience that led him to that event.

    Are Christians Sinners?

If I am a really good boy today and keep my faith high.... am I considered righteous today, or was that declared on Oct 7, 1979 when I was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of my sins?
