I too am "perfection"....with the exception of just one fault .....I can never tell the truth.

Just me testing to see if the other extreme of intelligence might evoke a 'happy medium'.....but seems there are no spiritualists around;)

I have to confess to being perplexed by the 'elect and chosen' thing'. We read that it is only the 'many' (as distinct from 'all') who are even 'called'. And out of that limited 'many' only a few are 'chosen'. Does that not leave the vast myriads of mankind 'high, dry, and without hope'? Hyper...

It was just me wondering if the words of that old spiritual song might sum up how you were feeling.

To whom and when still loam large for me. Just as a case can be made out for the contention that…. a) we have already been saved….b) we are currently in the process of being saved….and c) there will come a time when we are finally and fully saved, so too a case case can be made out for...

Meditative to the degree of resolving everything that might trouble mankind. at any point in time. Such wisdom should indeed bring absolute peace to all forum interaction.

I incline to the view that the only sign given to us that matters is that of the '3rd day resurrection' of Christ. Mankind seems to divide between those who rely on signs, those who rely on 'wisdom', and those who rely on a combination of both. But what if, by not beginning with the simple faith...
