    BREAKING OF BREAD

Indeed, but why? Because the life is in the blood. Therefore it's sacred. All life comes from God and belongs to God. Now God, of course, can take what belongs to Him and share it with whomever He wills in whatever manner He wills... He does not give us the blood of beasts to drink, because...

    BREAKING OF BREAD

Hello marksman, Which is exactly why so many of His disciples grumbled and said 'this is a hard teaching who can accept it' It is also why this is a true test of his followers faith in Who He Is... Do you know why they were forbidden to drink blood? Peace be with you!

    BREAKING OF BREAD

Hello Cooper, I dont think scripture says whether Jesus ate and drank the Eucharist, but He certainly told the apostles to eat and drink. This, of course answers the sceptics question "How can this man give us (his) flesh to eat?" You too! Are welcome to come to the wedding feast of the...

Your Strength comes from Him..post a positive scripture!

Beloved, we are God's children now; what we shall be has not yet been revealed. We do know that when it is revealed we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. Peace!

    BREAKING OF BREAD

Hello marksman, Why would you think they were forbidden to do so? That contradicts John 6, where Jesus is emphatic that we must do so. Peace be with you!

    Are Protestants "saved? "

Dear Brakelite, I have never suggested that only the Church in Rome, or those in full communion with it are in the apostolic community. To which particular church, founded by an apostle (or one with apostolic authority) are you a member? From whom have you received the Cup of the New...

    Are Protestants "saved? "

If it did, then Jesus is shown a false prophet and all our hope is vain. 'the gates of hell will not prevail against it.' Yea rather, it has filled the whole world as foretold long ago. Peace be with you! Christ IS risen! Alleluia!

    Easter

As I am I, but i thonk that none who put their trust in Jesus will be disappointed! Rejoice my brother, Christ is risen! Breaking Bread has nothing to do with pieces of bread? Hmmm.. I think I agree.. It has to do with sharing in the One loaf that Jesus broke and the One cup, that Jesus...

    BREAKING OF BREAD

Hello marksman, And yet you assert: You have no basis, in the text, to assert that. You say 'they were forbidden' to eat and drink, while John 6 shows they were commanded to eat and drink His flesh and blood. You cannot make such an assertion based solely on the text of 1Cor 11 Peace!

    Easter

Ty for the answer. Are you suggesting we only celebrate the feast of Jesus' death and ressurection once per year? or are you pointing out that all the Jewish feasts are fulfilled in Jesus, Who becomes our Paschal Lamb? Peace!

    BREAKING OF BREAD

How is that a problem? John 6 and 1Cor11 go hand in hand. Here' a little from Ignatius, bishop of Antioch, who learned these things directly from the apostles: "They abstain from eucharist (thanksgiving) and prayer, because they allow not that the eucharist is the flesh of our Saviour Jesus...

    Are Protestants "saved? "

Hello Preacher, I guess that leaves you with Alexandria or Constantinople.. Are you a member of these? They went out from us, but they were not really of our number; if they had been, they would have remained with us. Their desertion shows that none of them was of our number. If you are not...
