To be or not to be Catholic

It very much is, it's against what they call netiquette. I however may be showing my age. It isn't hers either, but I don't tell her where to bring the kids even though I wouldn't step foot in her church. She can bring them to whatever church she desires. What she does with the kids when she...

To be or not to be Catholic

You can be bold without yelling. I would worship Jesus in the Epicopal church and nothing else. Possibly. I do what I can when I can. Thank you!

To be or not to be Catholic

I'm with you. As I am guessing traditional and reverent means liturgical?

To be or not to be Catholic

Do you think yelling it will help? I used to be a cradle Catholic and no longer consider myself one. I looked for churches for many years trying different ones. I finally settled on the church that my fiance would attend and that is the Episcopal Church. Like Devin above, I prefer liturgical...

US supreme court strikes blow against LGBTQ+ rights with Colorado ruling

I could never do something like this as an EMT. Even if I saw someone just shoot 20 kids and they themselves were shot, and it was left to me to provide lifesaving medical care I would. They are still human and deserve to get the same medical care I would provide to one of the kids that they shot.

US supreme court strikes blow against LGBTQ+ rights with Colorado ruling

Exactly! I would treat anyone no matter their color, race, political leaning or sexual preference, etc.

Should Christian parents trust their children’s education to public schools?

I have yet to see my kid's public school pushing gender reassignment in their education and they are both in elementary school. I am fine with them teaching kids that LGBTQ people are people and they should never commit acts of violence against them. I know plenty of kids just out of public...

Should Christian parents trust their children’s education to public schools?

As I have said before. Not all of us can homeschool our children.

    The Tyranny of Politeness

Please don't speak for what I don't like as you know me. You haven't a clue about me. I should have kept you on ignore, but I took you and others off of ignore. I should have guessed that I would to put you back on ignore. But first the Holy Spirit just brought this scripture mind on how I...

Believe what you will and I will do the same.

    The Tyranny of Politeness

So then you reject clear scientific explanation. If you are not willing to understand the science which I have explained then you will never truly understand what you're talking about and no one should take you seriously when you speak on the subject. They do not have an identity disorder. I...

    The Tyranny of Politeness

They are two different things. Here is the key thing to remember and it is in what you quoted: "The existence of two or more distinct identities (or “personality states”)" Transgender people do not have two or more distinct identities or personality traits. They were either born male or female...

Christianity requires fear, guilt, and conformity

Those are good ones too! I am a fan of this one as well: "I think we make a real sharp couple of coconuts."

Christianity requires fear, guilt, and conformity

Being as biased as I am about Rocky, I say that it is a good thing that they did that!

Christianity requires fear, guilt, and conformity

Ahh, that makes sense! My favorite quote that I look at quite a bit when I need a little boost is this one: “Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees...

Christianity requires fear, guilt, and conformity

Being from Philly and being an Italian, Rocky holds a special place in my heart! I think I should clarify what I meant by the above. I was born and raised in Philadelphia and lived there for the first 24 years of my life. Then moved to 10 blocks from the beach in Jersey and then Upstate, NY...

    NAACP hahahahahahah

I thought you were commenting on the working since 12. That is why I commented.

    NAACP hahahahahahah

To be fair, I too have been working since I was 12. I worked as a caddy at a golf course during the summer. Was paid in cash and only made like $25 plus tips. This was 36 years ago too.
