Religion is man's attempt to rehabilitate his old fallen nature that Jesus has put to death. We are made to be new creations in Jesus Christ, 2 Corinthians 5:17. We don't become new creations.

The gift of God is the Gospel. All that believe the Gospel will be saved, Ephesians 1:13. Faith in Christ and his Gospel are the entrance into eternal life.
