The People Who Actually Try To Say They Have "Seen The Glory of God."

When the Catholics compiled the Apostles' writings they officially ended the gifts of the Spirit? Is "Holy Roman Empire" a term that God introduced?

I feel I've fallen away from God

My point is Peter preached condemnation to those that were in sin to get them to obey Acts 2:38.

The Singular Factor In Coming To God Through Christ.

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Have you obeyed Acts 2:38?

I feel I've fallen away from God

Obey Acts 2:38. Anyone that is not saved per Acts 2:38 is not an Acts 2 Apostolic. They are some other kind of new age believer.

I feel I've fallen away from God

³⁶ Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. ³⁷ Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart,

I feel I've fallen away from God

So Peter was persecuting the 3000 that were lost (but thought they were right with God) Per Acts 2(38)?

I feel I've fallen away from God

Try actually getting saved the right way via Acts 2:38. That is a lot harder to backslide from.

Why don't we say, 'in the name of Mary"?

    Interesting thought....

Why don't we say, 'in the name of Mary"?

The pope must be talking about the wrong Mary. Mary, the mother of Jesus, had a bunch of kids by Joseph after Jesus was born. He better read his Bible for once in his life.

Why don't we say, 'in the name of Mary"?

Now that is a really good question. It seems synonymous with the worship of the baby Jesus in statue relics across Catholicism. It's as if the average baby is intelligent enough to make that decision(as per the "God/baby").

    God's Plan of Salvation

16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

    God's Plan of Salvation

There has only been 1 plan of biblical salvation, and that plan is laid out through the Lev. 23 festivals God's true followers have kept throughout the many centuries. A rather significant aspect of Christ's ministry that Romanists gloss over is that Christ gave sermons/lectures on or around...

    God's Plan of Salvation

So, you believe Acts 2:38 really means this?... 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized BY THE HOLY GHOST every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.????? And this passage really means this?.... 3...

Why don't we say, 'in the name of Mary"?

Amen. The only a way to avoid the judgment of God is to obey Acts 2:38

    God's Plan of Salvation

Per the OT tabernacle pattern... The animal died at the altar...Jesus was sacrificed...we die(repent). The priest washed at the Laver...Jesus was baptized...we wash our sins away by being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ per Acts 2:38. The priest passed the vail in the Holiest of...

    God's Plan of Salvation

Awesome thread. The OT definitely shadows the Acts 2:38 salvation plan.

Why don't we say, 'in the name of Mary"?

The Pope already calls the protestants her daughters. The apple hasn't fallen far from the tree. They have not modified the Trin doctrine whatsoever from the RCC version. They are technically Catholic, as the Catholics also, officially banned Acts 2:38 from their baptism services 1700 years...

Why don't we say, 'in the name of Mary"?

Nothing crazier than watching a Catholic kneeling and chatting to a statue of Mary. God only knows if she looked like that anyway. One thing for sure, if you talk about "God's mama" having children after Jesus was born, those Catholics might bend our beak...LOL
