Where’s the rapture in the Bible?

The point is it could be a geological 1/4 and not a total body count. The verse doesn't make that distinction and it's possible it was translated wrong. You didn't say what version it was but many of the more modern versions translated by inserting their opinion of what it should mean rather...

    Rapture 2020: Come Up Here

The only thing happening in Rev. 4 is John going to where he was summoned and has zero to do w/ the timing of the rapture. That is a false theology created by men who didn't understand that the seals are not part of God's wrath.

Where’s the rapture in the Bible?

The bible doesn't say that 1/4 of the population will die. What it does say is that 1/4 of the earth will be affected by those plagues.

Where’s the rapture in the Bible?

I would add pre-wrath into the mix as it blends both of those positions together perfectly when one understands that while the great trib is in the context of the 70th week it has nothing to do w/ the times mentioned in the bible. It is a short term event that will be in the midst of the first...

A Different Look at the Parable of the 10 Virgins

I don't agree that the seven churches represent ages of the church but other than that I thought your post was very thought provoking.

    DAY OF THE LORD

I was speaking of them using the term "satan's wrath" and I stand by my statement I've never heard a pre-tribber use that phrase in defining any kind of wrath but back to the first paragraph of your previous post I always have believed, when speaking of the latter days the word 'saints" refers...

A Different Look at the Parable of the 10 Virgins

A Different Look at the Parable of the 10 Virgins Matt. 25:1-13 A person inquired of me…”In the 10 virgin parable why are there 10 and why 5 who make it to the marriage supper, are they all betrothed? If the oil is the HS then 5 had none no HS. So not saved. What exactly is this kingdom of...

    DAY OF THE LORD

I have never heard of any pre-tribber teaching on the topic of your second paragraph.

Is it a sin for Christians to violently confront and resist oppressive antifa members?

I believe Jesus teaches otherwise. Lk 22:36 - "Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one." We have right to protect what is ours and those who are in our sphere at the time from...

Breaking: Abraham Accords and the Ezekiel War!

One has to take into consideration not only the literal but what the verse is implying. I think it safe to say that most people think of this verse saying that Israel has been at peace for so long they have torn down all the walls and gates. Israel today just doesn't fit that scenario.

Where’s the rapture in the Bible?

1 Cor. 15:52, Matt. 24:31 (as well as Mark 13 & Luke 21) 1 Thess. 4:16-17, 2 Thess. 2:1...Timing of it...Rev. 6- After the signs of the 6th seal Rev. 6:12-17 and before the opening of the 7th seal/1st trumpet. Our arrival in heaven is depicted in Rev. 7:9!

Breaking: Abraham Accords and the Ezekiel War!

If you mean, Ez.39, Yes, but if you mean Ez. 38 that is post-millennial timing, imo. There is no way Israel can be described as a "land of unwalled villiages...with neither bars nor gates"!

Breaking: Abraham Accords and the Ezekiel War!

If you mean Ez. 39, then yes, but Ez. 38, imo, is post-millennial timing. There is no way Israel can be described as a "land of unwalled villages...having neither bars or gates"!

I'm a Christian and I support the legality of same-sex marriage

Well, I'm not going to read all 607 replies to this but I agree mostly w/ what K9Buck says. The mistakes began when the government decided to change a spiritual decision and tradition and turn it into a legal one. He is exactly right when he says the gov't should never have gotten into the...

    Exactly, 100% in agreement!

    DAY OF THE LORD

I don't see it as being left out, I think the greater blessings will be found in heaven. I don't remember if we covered this but I believe the GT is satan's wrath upon the church, Rev. 12:17 and it will play out like Mark 13 says. I believe what makes it great is the amount of christians that...

    DAY OF THE LORD

I do believe they are separate but not by any dispensation but simply because the destiny of the 144,000 is different from the destiny of the gentile church. The 144,000 will be used by Christ to serve in the millennial era, Rev.14:4 while the church will be traveling back and forth between...

    DAY OF THE LORD

I have to respectfully disagree, I'm not pre-trib but I don't believe the church will be here for the majority of the 70th week. The 144,000 will be spared most of this but not just because they are sealed, but because the sealed plus some others will be safely secured somewhere when they go...

    DAY OF THE LORD

I believe it is the wrath of the Lamb (trumpets) followed by the wrath of God (vials) that is being held back until the 144,000 are sealed and the church is raptured and immediately after the 1/2 hour of silence as we all contemplate what is about to beset the earth, that begins the 7th seal/1st...

    The Two Witnesses

Certainly Israel will experience this as well but its plain to me that Rev. 6:16 is speaking to mostly the gentile nations.
