The NT manuscripts are full of mistakes

A mistake would be something that’s not right or true. A simple example would be “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son”. That’s an error because we also are sons of God”. Granted that’s not a biggie but that’s just off the top of my head.

The NT manuscripts are full of mistakes

In my opinion the first and foremost gauge is there won’t be any mistakes or contradictions in a God inspired translation. That’s why I was interested in the contradictions in the gospels. Next would be evidence of divine occurrences related to the text. This would be more or less something...

The NT manuscripts are full of mistakes

Interesting, I didn’t know there were conflicts in the gospels. Can you give one of the errors?

The NT manuscripts are full of mistakes

Very true. Every uninspired translator is only giving their opinions, biases and false doctrines they adhere to. The only way to possibly have an accurate bible today is if God inspired the translators.

To what does the APOSTASIA refer

There is not one single verse in the Bible that contradicts another verse. If one verse says there’s no light in it then you will not find another verse in the Bible that contradicts it. You don’t take all scripture into consideration, you just throw out verses that don’t agree with your view...

To what does the APOSTASIA refer

I would respect your arguments if you would stick with the argument and explain how “no brightness in it” doesn’t really mean “no brightness in it” because the Hebrew word really means blah blah blah, but that’s not what you do you. You just start adding text to the verse that’s not there. I...

To what does the APOSTASIA refer

There is no such thing as productive input in a conversion with you, you twist or ignore any verse in the Bible that goes against what you believe. You conform the Bible to you rather than conforming yourself to the Bible.

Hidden treasures in the biblical text by Chuck Missler Have you read it?

The Bible is nothing but hidden messages, that’s how God hides his truth from the world and reveals it his own.

To what does the APOSTASIA refer

What you're saying only applies to unbelievers. You're not looking at the whole story. Another gospel according to Spiritual Israelite.

Generation X, Z, Millennials, etc. Stupid?

It’s the old divide and conquer strategy. Can’t have the generations unified.

    Who said this?

The King James translators changed the wording to make the passage easier to understand while still staying within the definition of apostasia. The King James Bible translators knew the day of Christ wasn’t the day of the Lord and they knew the temple of God was the body of the believer.

Hidden treasures in the biblical text by Chuck Missler Have you read it?

I think the children of Israel wandering in the desert is probably one of the best illustrations of salvation and the 2nd birth. All of the children of Israel that came out of Egypt were covered by the blood. This foreshadows a saved Christian saved by the blood of Jesus. When it was time to...

To what does the APOSTASIA refer

Man it’s amazing how you blatantly ignore scripture! Amo 5:18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light. Amo 5:20 Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

To what does the APOSTASIA refer

The day of the Lord is darkness and there is no light in it. Amo 5:20 Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it? The day of the Lord IS NOT the second coming. The day of Christ IS light and IS NOT the day of the Lord.

To what does the APOSTASIA refer

The day of Christ is the day Christ comes into the believer, in other words it’s the day we’re born again and Christ is formed in us. 2Pe 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and...

One more point about the meaning of APOSTASIA

There is no way to know what apostasia means just from the word apostasia, you have to consider the context of the passage.
