    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Gasp.....statues of the Mother of God and Jesus in a ornate CHRISTIAN CHURCH? Blasphemy upon or God for sure! He would never approve of that in HIS house.... Exodus 25:18-20 1 Chronicles 28:18-19 Ezekiel 41:17-18 Numbers 21:8-9 And we certainly wouldn't want to look at a grave detailed image...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Get your story straight, if that's possible. ;) Protestant Church, Bern Switzerland Protestant Church, Berlin Protestant Church, London I could go on and on and on....but you get the point!!!

    Who has the authority…

Hi Desire, No, Scripture DOES NOT clearly say that the eunuch or Jesus was immersed. That is why there is a debate among Christians about this. If it CLEARLY said immersion then there would not be a debate about this. So, logically, if it is in debate then it is NOT as clear as you allege...

The Problem with 2 Peter 1:1

Thanks. That makes sense. It's the go to vs because it separates the 3 by saying "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,". Three in one = Trinity!

The Problem with 2 Peter 1:1

Thanks David, I never suggested that Matthew 29:19 indicated that they are coequal, coeternal and coexistent. I simply responded to your assertion that 2 Peter 1:1 is often used to support the trinity. I simply pointed out that Matthew 28:19 was the go to in support of the Trinity. But since...

    A Curious Question For Non-Trinitarians

Hey Jane, They are 1 God via unity. But are they not individual also? Respectfully, Mary

The Problem with 2 Peter 1:1

Huh....I always thought Matthew 28:19 was the go to in support of the Trinity....:)

    Who has the authority…

Nope, not true Bob. Your "correction" is pedantic. Your statements are not only opposite of what Jesus said (this IS my body/blood) and what Paul said (it IS a participation in the body/blood) and what the earliest historical Christian writings from men who were taught by the Apostles say (it...

    Who has the authority…

Your statements that are opposite of what Scripture says!

    Who has the authority…

Thanks Robert for your well thought out response. I appreciate it. This helps me better understand what you have been taught. However, your response conjures up more questions. Who decides if the church leaders you speak of "are in harmony with the Bible's teachings" and what they told me "to...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Good, we are starting from scratch. How about if you read what the men who walked and talked with the Apostles wrote instead of what your 16th century men wrote? That is a good place to start "scratching" (learning)! Clement of Rome, the third successor to Peter as Bishop of Rome, "had seen...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Good morning Gen2rev, Lol....that's your way of defending what YOU SAID? Accusing me of twisting what you said but not clarifying what you said/believe? Hmmmm..... Well, I if I am twisting what you said then please clarify. YOU SAID "I don't claim any allegiance to any specific...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Dear B5, How is me asking you questions about what YOU SAID you believe a "trap"? o_O I think the very simple questions I asked put you in a dilemma. If you answer them honestly you would realize that what you believe is not based on Scripture nor logical...but I digress.... Thank you for...

    Who has the authority…

Thanks Bob, ORDINANCE defined: an authoritative decree or direction; something ordained or decreed by fate or a deity SACRAMENT defined: a Christian rite (such as baptism or the Eucharist) that is has been ordained by Christ Both definitions meet the criteria of communion being a Sacrament...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

How is it strange? Your post suggest YOU know the truth over what the SDA's and Baptist taught you. You rejected those leaders pf those churches who ruled over you and made yourself your own ruler. Or are you saying you belong to a church that has men who rule over you and are in charge of your...
