    Obscure figures of speech...

Unto the unbelievers it was not given to them that they could understand. To believers it was given! To us it was not obscure at all. Say what?? Who says these are not literal? Angels and Satan are real. The torment of hell are also real. It is not meant to be literal. It is offered as a...

In regard to what Jesus said to Peter, it appears that the Apostle John's presumption is in error.

I know belief when it exists. I know foolishness and unbelief when I see it. You have waved away the bible and offered some shallow pretense of secret knowledge that you failed to be able to produce!

I already know symbolism. I also know when it applies and when not to wave away what is real by mislabeling it as symbolism. Work on that. A lot.

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

Baloney. You made that up. You might as well say 'there are no alps'. The last week of history not only will exist, but is very important. Confused and mixed up mischievous word mulch. No. Why would some angel step one foot on the earth and one on the sea to yell in a loud voice that time was...

Why kid yourself? Having a reality such as heaven does not mean that we also cannot have pictures of that here, such as a heavenly day. Having a tree in heaven does not mean that we have no trees here. Having a river in heaven does not mean that it is not really a river just because water also...

Don't whine because you were defeated. Try to move on.

I have all the tools needed. All you need is belief. Not elaborate excuses for unbelief.

In regard to what Jesus said to Peter, it appears that the Apostle John's presumption is in error.

No they would know God is not tricking us and that there is no reason not to believe what we were told. It was not offered as some great mystery. Having 'prophetical import' (in other words whatever you wish to make up) cannot take away from what were were told was in heaven.

In regard to what Jesus said to Peter, it appears that the Apostle John's presumption is in error.

Revelation 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: It's already there why would I want to take it there? You can disbelieve in heaven and a temple in heaven and the ark in a temple in heaven all you like. Add the Millennium...

They should be ready to believe the bible. Revelation 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: Believe it...or not.

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

So the first half of the seven years of the wrath of God then. Which trumpet? His voice that calls us up at the Rapture before this seven years is like a trumpet. The seventh trumpet sounds ending the rule of man and announcing the return of Christ. Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel...

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

I am saying nothing like that. Just because beheading does not save people does not mean the tribulation is anything but the wrath of God and more terrible than any other time. That is why we are not appointed to wrath.

Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon...

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

In other words the bible uses the phrase twice and it is referring to Jews each time? Well, I would say it seems quite possible. However I would say we do not know. The phrase could apply in many situations as well today.

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

The length of the Tribulation is given repeatedly. It is in that time that the covenant exists. Completely false. No grace or salvation?? What a horrible thing to make up whole of cloth and preach as if it had the slightest semblance to truth. So you think basically that as far as a number of...

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

Explain why if he was say, from a Catholic heritage, and rejected the God of his fathers, that wouldn't work? How does the verse say exclusively Jewish?

The verse did not say that. So why do you?

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

I suppose you think that verse supports your claim. So let's say the leader was a Buddhist. That would mean his fathers worshiped Buddha. Etc etc etc. So we could perhaps say 'maybe he will be from Jewish origins'. That is not what you claim. You state it as fact.

Who asked where he would be from? He is of his father the devil. Why quibble over where he may have been born?
