Replacement Theology thrown down in 1 verse?

Not really, first what do you think it would look like after the sky "vanishes"? Have you ever heard the expression by a weatherman, (not exactly) "later on today you'll see the clouds rolling in..."? Could clouds "roll in" more than once so that you can no longer see the lights of the heavens...

The Reality of the Millennial Kingdom

Well how about just plain common sense than. Can the same volcano erupt more than once? Is it possible that we could experience one earthquake followed by a stronger earthquake? Is it possible that a tsunami in one part of the world looks a lot like a tsunami in another part of the world. Is it...

The Reality of the Millennial Kingdom

If any nation could be said they are ruling the world (even in a limited scope) it would be the US, as we are now. Another clue is Rev. 18:11. At present we are the largest importer of the world's goods. If you really wanted to study this compare Rev. 17 & 18 with Jer. 50 &51. Could that change...

The Reality of the Millennial Kingdom

Even born again, in our human state we are still unworthy of God. The ONLY thing that makes us acceptable to God is the Blood of Christ covering us. That is all God needs to see. If he doesn't see that, then no matter how good we may have been, we will still be on our way to hell.

The Reality of the Millennial Kingdom

The goats on the left hand are immediately cast into the lake of fire vs. 14 only the Gentile sheep enter into the millennium and while many may not be saved they will be deemed worthy to enter into the millennial era because they passed the parameters of judgment vss. 35-40. The 144,000+ have...

The Reality of the Millennial Kingdom

I don't see why you say the whore would be bigger than the US. Sounds like a ten nation Islamic confederacy to me and they already hate us.

The Reality of the Millennial Kingdom

If ones spirit isn't immortal than one would not be resurrected, there would be no sense in it. What would be the point of raising a person up just to condemn them eternally to the state they were already in? I will concede that God is the only one who can destroy the immortal soul.

The Reality of the Millennial Kingdom

He came as a Redeemer. It's not like this caught God by surprise. Many times God uses the devil as an unwilling servant to accomplish whatever God desires. This was exactly God's plan from Genesis till then.

The Reality of the Millennial Kingdom

these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. To me this is descriptive of Babylon in Rev.18, which I believe will be the USA shortly (the way it looks) in the future.

The Reality of the Millennial Kingdom

1 Thess. 5:23 - "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." Within this context, the body G4983 is obvious, the spirit G4151 is the rational and immortal soul and the soul...

The Sweet and bitter little book of Revelation 10

I can agree with this although I don't think the lack of understanding on John's part happens as frequently as you seem to imply. Let's take Rev. 9:7-10 - "And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their...

Replacement Theology thrown down in 1 verse?

Your highlighted conclusions above are inaccurate, imo and can be shown to be indeed, chronological.

Replacement Theology thrown down in 1 verse?

With that I can agree although I think it will happen in a different way than you and most Dispensationalists think.

The Reality of the Millennial Kingdom

Don't need a quote, The whole of scripture points to that reality.

The Reality of the Millennial Kingdom

Then it's simply a matter of semantics. We are guilty and deserving of eternal death, perhaps it would be better worded if you said that, "Many false teachers claim that the church is responsible for the "act" of His crucifixion. The statement that His "blood" is upon all living souls believer...

The Reality of the Millennial Kingdom

Hi Davy, I think our difference lies in the often misconstrued belief that only sinners will be at the GWTJ. All human flesh that haven't known about or had the opportunity to hear about Christ will be judged at that time as well, also those good that died during the millennial era. The former...

The Reality of the Millennial Kingdom

We won't need the earth. The earth will be for the living, not the immortal. Yes, we are new creatures but in the sense that we can begin each day anew, not that we have transformed into something different. All humans have an immortal spirit be they good or evil.

The Reality of the Millennial Kingdom

I find your lack of knowledge regarding the basic building blocks of Christianity quite sad. The devil's deception is everywhere.

The Reality of the Millennial Kingdom

Regarding what brakelite said, the NJ won't be here until after the millennium and the GWTJ and the destruction of the old and creation of the new heavens and earth according to the chronology of Rev.
