    Calling all Law Keepers.

I already said there is no evidence He did. I realize you deny "4 cups". therefore you must deny Paul's mention of the 3rd cup, the cup of blessing, 1 Corinthians 10:16 which he ties to the Eucharist, so discussion with you is a waste of time. For the 3rd time, I never said Jesus partook of...

Pre-Trib Rapture any day now!! Then Coming Apocalypse! Then Jesus Returns to set up His Kingdom.

Jesus is powerless to do that for His mother, but "raptures" everybody else?

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

No, it doesn't. That's your blind prejudice talking. Many Protestants today realize that Catholics adhere to the idea of salvation sola gratia (by grace alone), but fewer are aware that Catholics do not have to condemn the formula of justification sola fide (by faith alone), provided this...

    Calling all Law Keepers.

Acts 2 46 Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts, They broke bread daily.

Because something is absent from a verse does not mean it is non-existent.

    Calling all Law Keepers.

When you admit to 4 cups of wine at the seder/Passover that I have referenced more than once, we might be able to have a discussion. You say my premise is flawed but you don't explain why. It's because you deny the 4 cups of wine that can be found on any Jewish site. You are not the "Jewish...

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

I have a file written by Scott Hahn on Original Sin. People get annoyed with long posts so I'm sending it to your private message box.

    Calling all Law Keepers.

There is nothing in scripture that says Jesus ate the consecrated Bread and Wine. What are you trying to prove? The Last Supper (seder/Passover) was on a Thursday, He died on Friday, so what is the problem? Luke 23:4,14; John 18:38; 19:4,6 – under the Old Covenant, the lambs were examined on...

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

I have trouble with it too, but for a few verses. Not yet. I've read other books by Scott Hahn. A superb teacher. Romans 5 explains O.S. That's correct. O.S. is contracted, not committed by a conscious choice. Therefore it can be removed without a conscious choice.

The thief on the cross !?

The only thing you gave me was the name of the author. I had to look up the rest myself. Documentation from any qualified person is done to avoid opinions, and I cite Protestant experts when ever I can find them. There are lots of those on the links you didn't read. On a Jewish site, it states...

The thief on the cross !?

Objective and unbiased, no doubt. His book was written somewhere between 1552-1634 Cook was a judge, not a historian. Let's take a look at DOCUMENTED events around the time that concerns you so much. Protestant Inquisitions: “Reformation” Intolerance & Persecution (all citations from...

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

As I said, faith can equal obedience, and we cannot please God without faith. I agree. But the CC develops, she cannot change any doctrines. That's impossible. Development does not mean change. The canon of the Bible is an example of development. God is always in a hurry to forgive us. "Sin...

Charles Spurgeon's Sanity Litmus Test (are you insane?)

Righteous acts are not self righteous if they are done in response to God's grace. The glory goes back to God. "Works righteousness" was condemned as a heresy in the 5th century but the myth won't go away. Protestants and Catholics do good works all the time. Sometimes together. Psalm 51:1-2 –...

The thief on the cross !?

I merely pointed out an error on your part with no malice intended and you reply with a temper tantrum. You throw a rant at me with 6-7 false histories. When you are ready to discuss one at a time, I'll be here. But I insist on scholarly documentation, not the lunacy you find on you tube and...

The thief on the cross !?

Tell 'ya what. I won't make straw men fallacies about what you believe if you don't make them about purgatory. Did you check the general consensus of the Early Church Fathers? OK, so it is not a priority for you, but "As if there is a second chance at salvation" is a falsehood. You want the...

A cardinal is merely a senior bishop with specialized duties, it's nothing to get all paranoid about.
