One that a person repents of and ceases doing.

A sheep is a follower of Jesus, once he quits following, he's a goat.

Did Peter ever quit believing, though? That's how one loses salvation, not because of a temporary sin.

    SinSinSin...RepentRepentRepent...YackYackYack...

So...if I willingly sin, do I need to repent? Don't complicate it... just answer the question.

Another one for you. If you look in the mirror, you can rebuke yourself for being nasty for no reason.

Are you a politician? Because you sure like to dance around questions.

    Mary, Queen of Heaven

Wow, so no actual answer to the quote? Why bother? It's ok very clear to me what he means. I suspect you just don't want to accept the logical meaning. Or maybe you think atheists get to heaven by following their concious instead of accepting Christ?

    Mary, Queen of Heaven

Responding to a list of questions published in the paper by Mr Scalfari, who is not a Roman Catholic, Francis wrote: “You ask me if the God of the Christians forgives those who don’t believe and who don’t seek the faith. I start by saying – and this is the fundamental thing – that God’s mercy...

Better go confess. That was not the way you are commanded to treat fellow Christians. "Let your speech be always in grace, having been seasoned with salt, to know how it behooves you to answer each one."

According to the Bible, is anyone born homosexual? Everyone is born to be either married or celebate as far as I can tell from scripture

    Mary, Queen of Heaven

Better go confess to the man while you still remember your sin...

No, being a heterosexual is not called an abomination anywhere in Scripture... So it's not the same. Yes, fornication is a choice, that's the point. One isn't born a fornicator, it's a sinful act some do.

Like the fact that he seems to have said atheists can go to heaven? Obviously you have no answers.

    Mary, Queen of Heaven

And yet another reason to never want to be Catholic. Apparently, calling other Christians stupid isn't a sin for you, but hey if it is you can just confess it to a man and be fine... So why should any sin matter?

So I guess that the liberal pope does not bother you? It's not as if there haven't been corrupt popes before. Why do I never get answers?
  17. R

    Mary, Queen of Heaven

You really aren't paying attention so why bother? I didn't say the church changed its position, I said that the Pope seems to be approving of contraceptives.

    Mary, Queen of Heaven

It's biblical. Sin is something we do, no sin is our identity.

Leviticus 18:22 "Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin." (NLT) Leviticus 20:13 "If a man practices homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman, both men have committed a detestable act. They must both be put to death...

Noting that the virus may be linked to birth defects when transmitted from a pregnant woman to her unborn baby, the reporter asked the Holy Father about proposals involving “abortion, or else avoiding pregnancy” in areas where Zika virus is prevalent. The Pope responded by emphatically stating...
