See if you can debunk her statements.

I wish I had more time to get into this...I'm on the road and on my phone. Anyway, this statement stood out: "Why would G-d "blind" the very people He calls His first born son? (Sh'mot / Exodus 4:22)" The reason is that Jesus was "the Last" of those who were "first"...meaning He came for the...

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

Your definition of salvation is in error. "Continued salvation" is an oxymoron. That is like saying "temporary eternity." If you will correct that error, everything will appear differently, that is, as it should be.

    How to maintain God's Salvation

Why do you equate dogs and pigs with Christ? Those who are saved are in Christ, whom said "It is finished." Would Christ return to his vomit? You don't even know who it is you are speaking of. Those words were to Israel. You are out of context.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

This is true, but it is good to also reconcile that with "there is only one begotten"...meaning Christ, who's body we are.

    How to maintain God's Salvation

And this is just more of you misunderstanding that the things of God do not actually have a before, and after, but all things simply "are", just as He is "I am." And you looking at everything from the worldly perspective of all things being revealed over time as one teaches a child, is a...

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

Okay, but you have just come to the point: It is not "we" but Christ in us who is without sin.

    Why unfair

I will give you an answer. You have the wrong idea. Life in the world is not the redeeming, but is rather for redeeming--all of it, not just that part before coming to Christ, but also that part after. Endure to the end. This too is good, but perfection does not come until the morning.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

The point is that John's words are believed to be about saved people, and they are not, but are about those who are not fully committed or given over to Christ. And those who are not fully given over commonly project their own lack of commitment on others and consider it ongoing sin--because it...

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

I agree...but what has that to do with the unsaved saying they are without sin, or the saved saying it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me?

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

So then you are referring to hypocrites rather than the terms or timing of salvation? If so, yes, these are worse than wolves. The problem is many group those who are free from sin in with the hypocrites...for lack of understanding. By so doing, those who are entering in, they hinder.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

We covered this...this is not the measure of God's salvation, you said it yourself--it is instantaneous. But, no, that is rather the measure of one's own belief. Which is even true of those who accuse people who are actually fully saved, looking at sins as the world does rather than according to...

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

No, but many are called but few are chosen.
  13. ScottA

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

This is that cusp I spoke of. He speaks to those who have been called, but not necessarily chosen...meaning they were not as yet saved.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

When one accuses one of these little ones, they do it to Him.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

Yes, which puts even a finer point on the timing than most are able to comprehend, for not fully understanding that what follows is not them, but Christ carrying out what remains of sin until the times are fulfilled.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

Good...but then to state the complete truth that many do not fully understand, we must also acknowledge that it is no longer they who live, but Christ...who some now wrongly accuse of sin, not having properly acknowledged the time of the End, which in such a life is the coming of Christ..."each...

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

I just posted the reason this is misunderstood. But it is also important to note the times, which were on the cusp of the greatest changes in all of history regarding salvation. Paul's ministry was to some who would die in their sins, but also to those who would be firstfruits following Christ...

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

That is not Christ. Still, one must understand that "to live is Christ" does not mean that Christ has not taken upon himself their sins past, present, and future...but that He has. This is what is not fully understood.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

Paul was speaking to those who had heard the good news of Christ and were beginning to follow, but were not fully given over to Him. They were not in Christ, nor Christ in them--not yet actually saved, and still partially living in sin. This Paul did understand.

Saying you are without sin verses in 1 John

Yes Yes, of course. However, that would only apply to those who are not in Christ. Can we agree that if it is no longer the person who lives, but Christ, as the scriptures say?
