    Once Saved Always Saved

My Lord, i didn't know all that was going on with him. Considering all this he's coming along pretty well. I see now I'm gonna have to cut him some slack, I've been to hard on him. Thanks for sharing that Behold!

    Once Saved Always Saved

The Lord doesn't ask much from us! But He demands faith, the Holy Spirit has no legal authority according to Gods rules, to operate in a person who no longer believes. As I have said a couple of times before, just as Ezekiel witnessed the Spirit leaving the temple because of unbelief, so it is...

    Once Saved Always Saved

I agree! The backsliders sin is not going to forfeit his salvation, it's just as you say. The verses I have been posting does not concern a backslider. These verses concern a loss of faith that forfeits salvation. The backslider still believes but caught up in sin, not so with the verses I...

Here's your proof, but you won't believe it, it's all a waste of time to show you this!!! James 5:19-20 "Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall...

    Once Saved Always Saved

It's plain as daylight in Heb. 6 and 10! But not even Jesus Himself could prove it to you!

1Timothy 1:18-20 "This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: Of whom is Hymenaeus and...

I Timothy 4:1 "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;"

    An excellent Bible reading plan.

I've been doing this longer than you have son! You do it your way and I'll do it mine! If that's ok with you!

    An excellent Bible reading plan.

Well, let's see, how about NO!!! I like to follow through in the best understanding I can get as I'm reading through the scripture. That means it takes time, its thorough, and I pick back up where I left off. I like my way, its worked for me many years now. I don't recommend it for everyone...

    An excellent Bible reading plan.

Like I said before, you are much more intelligent than myself. I have to take it slow, sometimes spending weeks on 2 or 3 verses searching them out in cross reference and commentaries. Then I move on, the time is takes is no factor to me. It takes as long as it takes!

Colossians 1:21-23 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be...

    An excellent Bible reading plan.

It takes me 2 years on average to read the scripture from cover to cover. I don't really know how many times I've done this but I know it's been at least a dozen times. As I read, beginning in Gen. through Rev., based on what I have already learned, I add to that with several studies as I go...

2 Peter 2:20-21 "For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the...

    Once Saved Always Saved

Nope, none of them including Farley takes into consideration that one can stop believing. But it really doesn't matter if you think of it. You hold on to your faith as I know you will do, nothing to worry about!

    Once Saved Always Saved

The difference is that Peter denied Christ in fear, or whatever it may have been, he didn't deny Him as in no longer believing in Him. There are circumstances in life when someone will walk away from Christ, no longer believing in what saved them, they deny Him in His saving grace. That is...

    Once Saved Always Saved

He believed in the coming Messiah, we know this because Jesus said, "Abraham saw my day, and was glad in it." He looked forward to the Messiah, we look back at the Messiah. We are all saved by faith in Christ!

    Once Saved Always Saved

We are saved the same way they were saved! The verse says, "when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness....." What makes one righteous? If he turns from that, what has he done? So simple but you will not admit it!

    Once Saved Always Saved

Let's see, I'm a false prophet in need of repenting, and now I'm not saved. All because I don't agree with you, hmmmm, seems I've seen this kind of thing before!

The pastor probably would say what I've said, when he sees the rebellion in some folks to accept the truth!
