    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

[ Yes, you could certainly try not to be extremely nasty to people you disagree with. As they are presumably your brothers and sisters in Christ. These are not major issues. They're merely points of disagreement about scripture interpretation.

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

I would think you could have a civil discussion without all the pointless insulting, if you really tried.

Hillary Clinton on "Why young people are leaving church?"

Um... this woman lies for a living. The church if anything is becoming less "judgmental". But that's not always a good thing, if it means the church loses all discernment.

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

And which images brought more people to Christ? The true ones or the fake looking ones? The reason The Passion of the Christ shook people to the core is that it didn't sanitize what really happened.

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

The purpose of good art is to inspire and stimulate deep thinking on the subject in question. Which is why portraying Christ and Mary realistically would be an excellent evangelism tool. But as long as we keep them in the stained glass other worldly types of images, they will remain only stories...

    Robots and Will Worshipers

Foreknowing is not foreordaining. Whether or not God knows everything about the future or just all possible futures, says nothing about what he causes or does not cause.

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

So? I never said I was going to draw the actual birth. I have been present at the birth of all my kids. I think it's amusing though, because Catholic art portrays Mary breastfeeding. I guess that's ok, as long as she has perfect clothes, posture and doesn't look anything like a real Mom in real...

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

I guess you never were present at a birth. It's a miracle, but a very messy miracle.

    Robots and Will Worshipers

Well, if you look at the different theories on this through the ages, you nearly always have God seeing the future or multiple futures in most. More later, gotta go for a bike ride. Lewis for example saw God as outside of time seeing all events... Possibly problematic, but greatly influential...

And Jesus... still nothing about nudity. Weird your mind went there.

    Biden Versus Trump

None of which have any chance of winning. I've voted third party before, but as much as Trump isn't my favorite person, I agree with most of his policies and it's certainly better than the socialistic left.

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

I never said anything about showing genitals, but ironically, there are scads of religious art that do, on God himself, no less. So, go argue with the Sytene Chapel ceiling..I'm talking about showing Jesus as a realistic babe, not as an angelic creature that we can't really relate to.

Interesting perspective. Can God decide not to see some future events? I am hesitant to say either way myself. I don't see how God can not know everything in advance, seeing as time is something he created and there's no time in space, at least not in the same sense as time on earth. But on the...

    Robots and Will Worshipers

First, the honest Bible student must observe that the narrative involves a vision that is highly symbolic. Therefore, it would be unwise to press it as though it were a literal circumstance. Micaiah answered Ahab with two parabolic visions. “In the first, Israel was likened to shepherdless sheep...

    Robots and Will Worshipers

Lol, you want me to argue against myself? You are already demonstrating that by coming up with crazy concepts like God controlling what the devil does, when scripture tells us God does not tempt anyone to do evil. But I could take verses out of context and say abortion is super great and fine...

    Robots and Will Worshipers

I don't have a problem with that song, and here's why: I know what God wants for me is what is best. The problem is when you take that concept and apply it to a God who seems to play both sides of the fence, controlling Satan and claiming to be good. If one knows God to be truly good in every...

    Robots and Will Worshipers

Is that all you have? Cherry-picked verses with no context? Because I can literally make the Bible say anything with that technique.
