    "This Generation" declared by Jesus.

Thank you. However, much of that still points to the common expectation which Jesus said would not be when He comes. Matthew 24:44 Since the beginnings of the early church men began to believe that Jesus would not "come quickly" or that what He said would not "shortly come"--that Jesus was...

    "This Generation" declared by Jesus.

Fair enough. But...you say Jesus "received the crown"...but you do not believe that He has won His victory over Satan, even to the end? ...And that millennium comment--that's another thing.

    "This Generation" declared by Jesus.

Haha, I was wondering when I would hear from the establishment! :D I mean from the millions and millions of that most popular crowd, that have taken the broad way for these past millennia. But no, "no more" does not mean "Well, not actually n-o...m-o-r-e...but kind of...that is, not until the...

    "This Generation" declared by Jesus.

You are closest, but have not put it all together. You are all over the map--which is good, but not until it is all put together. Recognizing that all those factors point to one truth must come together as one. These things do not point in every which direction, but to the heart, they are one...

    So Much Conjecture

I hear ya. But I favor the idea that all truth is ours if we receive it. In fact, I would go so far as to say, I see much of what you mentioned like I do the US Civil War...and the aftermath like the political circus that keeps coming to town from time to time.

    So Much Conjecture

Yes, Paul did that too, even turning some over to Satan ("for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus").

If OSAS is false, then what?

It is because people look at every day, but God does not. But rather with God, He is "the same yesterday, today, and forever." Meaning that once He has forgiven one's sins, He has not only forgiven them for that day and before, but forever (always)...because He considers it all.

    So Much Conjecture

That is absolutely true--and the only recourse should be to reconcile the would-be opposing passages. Which many of us try to do. But the arguers keep arguing--and why? Because they continue to reject the truth, even line upon line. And it just gets worse.

    So Much Conjecture

I keep coming back to the problem of CONJECTURE. There is something terribly wrong with it. I see it as the very thing that God presented to Paul during the early church of the grumbling of the women (representing the bride of Christ) drowning out the men (representing Christ). It is a parable...

    Once Saved, Always Saved?

    "This Generation" declared by Jesus.

This is an honest and respectful response. Thank you! To help the thought process...not looking for a denominational expose--please don't, but let me ask you: Would you say that the 1914 generation was something "new under the sun?"

    So Much Conjecture

I should think the OP is like holding up a mirror. By no means for entertainment.

    So Much Conjecture

This is good, very good. But let us remember, we have been promised to be lead into all truth--which indeed is all God's, and unattainable by pride. Nonetheless, we should embrace the idea, not in part, but in full. In Him, we shall be perfect as He is perfect. Which I do not say to encourage...

Best think again: And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven." John 14:19

    "This Generation" declared by Jesus.

You are getting closer. Just remember, He said, “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me." John 14:19

    "This Generation" declared by Jesus.

God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. So he put them all together in prison three days. And they went three days in the wilderness and found no water. ‘Prepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you will cross over this Jordan, to go...

    Once Saved, Always Saved?

I gave you scripture, but you reject it. So be it. I leave you to Satan.

    "This Generation" declared by Jesus.

If so...then explain why Jesus says "when you do not expect" speaking to those of that ("this") generation.
