Was Noah “saved by grace through faith”?

Is that it? I’m hilarious? The Bible tells us that the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to ALL MEN. But since ALL MEN are not saved, the Grace of God must not be as amazing as you think it is. If so? Then why aren’t all men saved?

Was Noah “saved by grace through faith”?

And that proves......what? Your God is bigger then my God?

Was Noah “saved by grace through faith”?

Yes. Noah was saved by grace through faith. God provided the grace. Noah was obedient to the directions given. If he had rejected the directions he would not have been saved. This is a perfect example to show that salvation does not happen before obedience. The nation of Israel was given...

Was Noah “saved by grace through faith”?

Thanks for your input. Very deep and studious response.

Was Noah “saved by grace through faith”?

First of all...where does the Bible say....”amazing grace”? Grace might be amazing but it’s not as amazing as you make it out to be. Second....let’s look at the following passage.... Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to...

Was Noah “saved by grace through faith”?

It is the grace of God that has supplied instruction in the way of salvation. That instruction has come from the Spirit through men. We have this treasure in earthen vessels.

Was Noah “saved by grace through faith”?

So, he was saved from the flood the moment he plucked a twig? A plank does not a boat make.

Was Noah “saved by grace through faith”?

You can answer that. Would he have survived the flood without building the boat?

Was Noah “saved by grace through faith”?

This idea of....”saved by grace through faith” is probably the most misunderstood teaching in the NT. The fact is.....all people from Adam to now are saved the exact same way, “by grace through faith.” This is not some Pauline doctrine that didn’t exist before Christ. When we look at Noah we...

Why do so many oppose imputed righteousness?

God didn’t promise ANYTHING to Abram in chapters 12-14? Really? Genesis 12:1-4 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and...

Why do so many oppose imputed righteousness?

As long as you say so, that’s all that matters. It’s good to know that Abraham didn’t “believe God” in chapters 12-14. He only started believing in chapter 15.

Why do so many oppose imputed righteousness?

So you have Abraham saved at the point of Gen 15:6? That’s odd! In my Bible Abraham packed up his family and left Ur as God commanded him in Gen 12 and he was building altars, sacrificing animals, and calling on the name of the lord in chapters 12,13,14. The Bible teaches that....whosoever...

Why do so many oppose imputed righteousness?

The Bible, not you, tells us who will be “accepted” by God. It is those who fear God and “works” righteousness. Ac 10:35 Why do people oppose this clear gospel truth. And if it’s true it should harmonize with the rest of scripture. Let’s see! What removes sin in the NT? Mk 16:16, ac 2:38...

All the ELECT please stand up

Yes “choosing” is in 1 Cor 1. Who did he choose? The church. He is writing to the “church” in Corinth. Show me where he states that certain individuals were chosen? Where’s the names? The “elect” from the foundation of the world, those who are chosen are those who have obeyed the gospel...

All the ELECT please stand up

First of all....1 cor 1:26-31 DOES NOT speak of “choosing” individuals. Read it again. second....let’s see what Paul thought at the end of his life. 2 Timothy 4:6-8 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course...

All the ELECT please stand up

How do you know he chose you? You can’t prove it. And how did you “trust” in Christ? That’s pretty vague. What did you do to “trust in Christ”? Ask for forgiveness? Say some prayer? Things that you can’t find anybody doing or teaching in the NT. yes, Christ does save sinners! At what...

Salvation: The Roman Road or The Jerusalem Road

I asked for an example. Give me an example of something. Everybody likes to talk in generalities but that gets us nowhere. People are in error. The Bible isn’t. If we want to gain a better understanding then we have to study it one passage at a time, and be willing to accept the truth.

    Christian Denomination Differences

I am providing passage after passage and you won’t deal with any of them. I asked 6 or 7 before or after questions that you passed on. You now say all Cornelius had to do was “believe” which you must mean “mental ascent” and his sins would be forgiven, even though he was immediately baptized in...

Salvation: The Roman Road or The Jerusalem Road

What’s an example of not understanding something literal? Something like.... ....He that believes and is baptized shall be saved? So literally salvation doesn’t come after baptism? ....Repent and be baptized FOR the remission of sins? So literally remission of sins does not come after baptism...
