    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

Well if I read a book that says: "They didn't have dessert until they finished the main course." I'm sure going to figure they had dessert. Not much interested in Catholic distortions of what is plainly written.

    Robots and Will Worshipers

Ok, if it works for you, but it doesn't make a lick of sense to me for God to claim to be upset with his people if they are only doing exactly what he determined for them to do. That actually makes God a liar.

    Some of my favorite songs

I love the "Mary did you know." Song!

    Robots and Will Worshipers

I suppose that depends on one's perspective. From our perspective as mere mortals, creation is pretty amazing. For a Being with no limits, it would seem to be pretty easy. But just creating creatures that do exactly as God determines that they will do, not only seems easier for him, it seems to...

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

Yes present tense. Do you understand what present tense is? If I say "I'm not an old man." Does it mean I will never be old? No, because it's in the present tense. For Mary to say: " "I am a Virgin." Does not in any reasonable person's mind equal: " I will remain a virgin forever."

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

I don't know what that means. Mary isn't divine, she cannot answer prayers or fix your life.

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

What don't you understand about they didn't come together until the child was born? It's not hard.

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

I still have no idea what you're talking about. If a person asks the obvious question: " How can I be pregnant seeing as how I've never had sex?" That doesn't make them stupid. It says nothing about the future.

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

Mary is never exalted, but only commended the same as many others are.

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

If I say I won't do something until a future happening, does it mean I will never do it? No, it means " not yet" or " not until."

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

Um, no. In fact, that's about the most ridiculous thing I've heard all week. She didn't know man, at that point in time. Duh! It says nothing about her future intentions. She wasn't wondering how she would get pregnant in 10 years, but how she could be in that moment, seeing as she'd never had...

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

"But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus." 25"But he did not have sexual relations with her until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus." 25"and did not know her till she had brought forth her[j] firstborn Son. And he...

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

Big difference between being exalted and basically worshiped and simply being commended for having faith. A whole slew of folks are commended for having faith in scripture. Of course, she was blessed to be chosen. Your religion turns this into something else entirely. Do we ask all the people in...

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

"Not yet" implies there's going to be something happening in the future. As an engaged couple, I could say that we have not yet come together, which strongly implies we surely intend to when the time is right!

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

So, If I said before being married that I do not "know" my future wife in the Biblical sense, would that mean I never intend or desire to know her that way? It's speaking in the present tense, that's the point!

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

Scripture, taken in context, nowhere declares that he was in authority over the other apostles, or over the church (having primacy). See Acts 15:1-23; Galatians 2:1-14; and 1 Peter 5:1-5. Nor is it ever taught in Scripture that the bishop of Rome, or any other bishop, was to have primacy over...

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

If Mary automatically inherits the title "Ark of the Covenant" for the reason that she once bore our Lord Jesus Christ in her womb, then would it not logically follow that all Christians can rightly be given the same title, since our bodies are also God's dwelling place (1 Corinthians 3:16-17...

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

Hmm, nothing at all about one man being the leader of the entire church. Seems leadership was dependent on a person's gifts. Kinda like Protestant churches do today. No one "pope' who is claimed to be infallible and claimed to speak God's words.

    Perpetual virginity of Mary!

How long have you beat your wife? See how that works? Totally unrelated. How about you show me where it says to ask dead people to pray for us? Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them...
