The End Of Racism In America

Matthew 3:2 "and saying, Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven has come near."

People who don't believe in Jesus are going to Hell, correct?

Humans are separated from God by sin and the wages of sin is death. Hell is real. If not, then Jesus is lying to us when He tells us the parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31). "For everyone will be salted with fire" Mark 9:49 To question Hell is to question the justice of God.

Was Judas Saved Or Not Saved?

If Jesus, the Son of God, says that it would be better if he were not born (Matt. 26:24) I'm going to guess Judas was not saved. Judas was a thief, too. (John 12:6) Just a side note. Why does it matter if Judas was saved or not? The fact is, we know what is required of us as believers. Instead...

    I'm Confused

The picture we see in scripture of baptism are people confessing their sins before being baptized. Babies cannot confess, much less speak. Baptism is done in faith.

    I'm Confused

If someone is questioning it, I would suggest the individual prayerfully consider being re-baptized. If you can't remember it, how can you remember confessing Christ before you were immersed? Of course, one might not remember every little detail of being baptized but if the conscience is...

    A Prophetic Word

You know, I've noticed something about you HIH. When the conversation doesn't go your way you have a way of turning it around on the other person, questioning their character, etc. That is called manipulation. Not to mention you failed to reply to my previous reply to you, about context in...

    A Prophetic Word

Stating that prophets in the Bible "missed it" only gives people today the chance to back-up false teachers. "Hey, even those in the Bible got it wrong, so cut these folks some slack." That just feeds false teaching. When Elijah said it was not going to rain until he said so, it didn't! When...

    A Prophetic Word

I didn't always support the Cessationism viewpoint. I actually come from the opposite background. So, no, I'm not missing anything.

    A Prophetic Word

Context is important, does it mean that verses cannot apply today where we can get understanding from them? No, not at all. But, we must understand context in which the words were spoken. Why is that a bad thing for you? 2 Sam. 12:8 says that God gave David his masters houses and wives to him...

    A Prophetic Word

A real "Biblical Prophet" would be those who have never once had a prophecy fail. The Prophets of God in the Bible are legit, there are no modern day prophets just as there are not modern day apostles.

    A Prophetic Word

Believers need to be aware of false teachers and it's sad that when questions are raised about the legitimacy of something it is labeled as "slander". It is kind of scary that it only takes someone to say, "I have a word from the Lord for you" and people just accept it without any questions...

    A Prophetic Word

So questioning an obvious error is now labeled as unbelief?

    A Prophetic Word

Yup. How different the real Biblical prophets were compared to these self-proclaimed modern "prophets".

    A Prophetic Word

If someone is going to speak in the name of the Lord they might want to get the context right, or else they're using the name of the Lord in vain. So, you don't believe in understanding context? I can pull a scripture from anywhere and apply it as I wish?

    A Prophetic Word

2 Chronicles 7:14 is in context to Israel and the Temple.

    King James Version Only...?

Older manuscripts have been found since 1611 KJV translation was published. The older the manuscripts the more reliable they are. The verses that are "missing" from modern translations were not found in the oldest manuscripts. So, in reality, nothing is missing at all.

    King James Version Only...?

There are a lot more manuscripts that have been found than what was available when the KJV was published. KJV was based on the handful that were available at the time.

    King James Version Only...?

Out of all the theological ideas and topics that I've come across over the years, the issue of KJV only is one that I have not encountered until recently. I do appreciate the KJV and have a few Bibles in that translation, but to say that it is the only true word of God in English seems to be a...

I'm a Christian and I support the legality of same-sex marriage

Then God is lying in His Word, so why would you follow a book (Bible) if it contains lies? Hell is real. Yes God is loving but with love comes a righteous judgment that hates sin.
