Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

The Scripture says that God created Hell, which is temporary and will be cast into the Lake of Fire, for Satan and his angels. The Scripture also implies it is for all unbelievers. and plainly states at the judgment all of them will be cast into it.

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

No, that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying it is not judging to see a drunkard as a drunkard, or a thief as a thief, or a dug user as a drug user, etc. I'm saying that judging the motives of a person is what Christ was speaking of. Only He knows the true motives of a person.

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

By refusing to let your daughter go, you made a judgment on that girl proving you don't trust her. And neither would I! The point I'm making is that the judgment spoken of in Scripture that we are to have no part in refers to ascribing motives to others.

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

So is that the Biblical judgement we are warned about in Scripture? You plainly did not let your daughter go, you have definitely made a judgment.

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

If your daughter wanted to spend the night with a friend and you had heard from other parents that this girl was a drug user, would you be judging that girl by not allowing your daughter to go with her, or would you be using common sense? I think I'm using common sense!

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

And how is my premise wanting when not a single soul in the UR can prove anything they say?

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

Well, the Scripture plainly places all unbelievers in the lake of fire, if you can show me plainly in Scripture where they get out, then I'll take back everything I said, and join the UR. If you can't, then it's wishful thinking, don't you think? If one pushes something they can't prove from...

When will the "sudden destruction" from which "they will not escape" referenced in 1 Thess 5:2-3 occur and what is the scope of it?

@Spiritual Israelite Let me show you one other thing to confirm that Paul was speaking of Israel in the "sudden destruction" in 1 Thes. 5:3. It took me a while to find this Scripture, I wasn't sure if Paul took this from Ezekiel, Isaiah, or Jeramiah., It was Jeremiah. Jer. 30:6-8 "Ask ye...

When will the "sudden destruction" from which "they will not escape" referenced in 1 Thess 5:2-3 occur and what is the scope of it?

I was taught to find the answer to one question at a time, and then put the results together from the Scripture. Attempting to answer several questions at once only creates confusion and misunderstanding. To answer your question on the peace and safety. Ezekiel 38:8 "After many days thou...

When will the "sudden destruction" from which "they will not escape" referenced in 1 Thess 5:2-3 occur and what is the scope of it?

Did I answer your question on "the sudden destruction" or is there something else I need further explain on that particular question?

When will the "sudden destruction" from which "they will not escape" referenced in 1 Thess 5:2-3 occur and what is the scope of it?

Nothing can be accomplished with all these questions thrown at once! I am directly answering your question, if you stick with only solving that question, the rest will come in short order. But I'm afraid in reality you don't want to understand why I believe what I believe! The reason you will...

When will the "sudden destruction" from which "they will not escape" referenced in 1 Thess 5:2-3 occur and what is the scope of it?

There are things that must be realized in order to understand the events that take place. That is what I'm doing, giving you the background to understand what I believe. I can tell you all day what I believe, but there is much explaining to be done to show you WHY I believe it. For example...

When will the "sudden destruction" from which "they will not escape" referenced in 1 Thess 5:2-3 occur and what is the scope of it?

OF course we can respectfully disagree, or I'm not in the conversation. You said in your post that you were interested to see if anyone seen it a different way. I'm going to show you that different way. All of us who believe in the rapture see it differently, but we all agree the...

    Reasons Jews Reject Jesus

The entire prophecy of the Hebrew people was preparing them for the Messiah. His Cross, His salvation, and yes His virgin birth. I'm not going on with this, it's a dead end road.

    Reasons Jews Reject Jesus

I think his reasoning on that was, the introduction of the Saviour that takes away the sins of the world. Can there be a greater prophecy?

First Work of Faith: Confessing Jesus Christ

No, now if we're going to say it, let's get it right! Grace through faith in Jesus Christ produces works. They are not our works, "but prepared for us." If those works are not accomplished through His preparing, then those works will not pass the "test of fire."

    Reasons Jews Reject Jesus

Well, I guess you can see it anyway you like. One of my professors called it the greatest of all prophecies found in Scripture.

    Reasons Jews Reject Jesus

I see it just the opposite. The OT prophesy gives the knowledge in awareness, and is explained in the NT.
