whirlwind, God could not of spelled it out any more clear, but yet they still hold on to the old ways.it's easy to miss a meal or two,but to go out of your way and feed the poor,clothe the naked etc. takes a more phycical effort.Jesus showed us how to fast every time he fead the poor etc..the 40...

God says in isaiah 58 what kind of fast pleases him. :rolleyes: Jesus already took care of the flesh and told us to take care of the poor. :D fasting like we have been taught is like lifting weights-it profits little :o
