The Church decided the canon. How do you know you have the correct canon?

Good for you answering directly If faith is sufficient it wouldn't need completion through works.

The Church decided the canon. How do you know you have the correct canon?

First you should have the courage to address me directly. Second I've answered how the the thief was saved Third salvation is for God to impart on others as he wishes. Its not for me to judge who he imparts his salvation to. God can save whoever he wants whenever he wants by whatever means he...

And I've shown you that the demons believe but they aren't saved. Faith.is brought to completion by works. You need to understand what sufficient means but you just refuse. If faith was sufficient it wouldnt need completion through works. Unless you're claiming Scripture is wrong or deceptive.

Both a and b. Luke 23:39-43. His faith was brought I completion by his work of rebuking the other thief. Your heart is far from him.

The Church decided the canon. How do you know you have the correct canon?

If faith was sufficient it wouldnt need completion by works. "For just as the body is dead without spirit, so faith without works is also dead." James 2: 26

The Church decided the canon. How do you know you have the correct canon?

I don't seek works works are necessary but not sufficient. This has been shown to you from Scripture not me but your heart is far from God while your mouth prattles on with idle chatter. "Thus, you can see his(Abraham) faith and his works were active together; his faith was brought to...

The Church decided the canon. How do you know you have the correct canon?

I don't think so. Scripture is quite clear on this matter. James 2: 26 "For just as the body is dead without a spirit, so faith without works is dead." I'm not sure where there could be a question that faith is not sufficient for salvation.

The Church decided the canon. How do you know you have the correct canon?

Works are necessary but not sufficient. Same with faith. Faith alone is useless. James 2:19 Does their belief save them?

The Church decided the canon. How do you know you have the correct canon?

There is no need for DNA as Jesus told you that eat his flesh. He is very explicit. Everyone in that story knows what Jesus is saying. You either can't or won't listen. You can repeat that foolishness about DNA but you aren't challenging me. You don't get it do you? Why would Jesus say eat my...

Cherry picking? LMBO. If that's your only rebuttal then we know you have no solid counter argument. I gave you the entire thing. So your argument is that the flesh profits nothing so when Jesus said MULTIPLE times eat my flesh he said that because the flesh profits nothing? Lol. He said flesh...

The Church decided the canon. How do you know you have the correct canon?

If faith was sufficient there would be no reason to write "In the same way, faith by itself is dead if it does not have good works" James 2:17. If faith was sufficient there would be no reason to write, "You fool! Do you want proof that faith without works is futile?" James 2:20 This is one of...

The Church decided the canon. How do you know you have the correct canon?

You're starting to understand. Faith BEFORE works not ONLY. Faith without works is dead. Faith is not sufficient. You people are as stubborn as the Jews in the desert.

The Church decided the canon. How do you know you have the correct canon?

Only if you're blind or deaf. AGAIN John 6:51 I am the living bread(symbolic) that can me down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread(symbolic) will live forever; and the bread (symbolic) that I will give is my flesh(not symbolic as Jesus is flesh) for the life of the world. From that passage on...

The Church decided the canon. How do you know you have the correct canon?

Too bad Scripture says faith without works is dead just like a body without spirit is dead. You aren't arguing with me friend.

No honor Mary Assumption not acsencion Mary as intercessor. Wedding at cana Rosary beads a practice not a dogma Absolution is not through repititious prayer. Its not magic If you're this wrong about so many things at work you have to be self employed. No boss would keep you around.

The Church decided the canon. How do you know you have the correct canon?

Yes faith precedes works but faith is not sufficient. if it was then James has no reason to tell us faith without works is dead.
