Surely Premils must invent 2 future glorifications days and 2 future raptures separated by 1000 years+?

Since you don’t want to answer and seem to be dodging a simple question for some strange reason, then I’ll just make the assumption that yes, you you appear to be arguing - “not be hence more an infant of days and old man after” should be understood as “no longer will an infant become like an...

Surely Premils must invent 2 future glorifications days and 2 future raptures separated by 1000 years+?

It’s a simple yes or no, so as to make sure I didnt misunderstand you. Is that how you are framing your argument?

Surely Premils must invent 2 future glorifications days and 2 future raptures separated by 1000 years+?

you appear to be arguing - “not be hence more an infant of days and old man after” should be understood as “no longer will an infant become like an old man” And you seem to be arguing that “not fulfill your days inasmuch a child old a hundred years die” should be understood as “no longer will...

Surely Premils must invent 2 future glorifications days and 2 future raptures separated by 1000 years+?

right, a typical response in a debate forum. Asking if you can provide any translational evidence to support your rearrangement of the text. That’s not a ridiculous request. But Just as I thought, you can’t produce any support or evidence that agrees with your personal rearrangement of Isaiah...

Surely Premils must invent 2 future glorifications days and 2 future raptures separated by 1000 years+?

ah yes, the ole if I question how someone else is using Greek/hebrew then all of the sudden I’m claiming to be the “ultimate expert”. What a joke of a counterpoint. Careful, wouldn’t want to come off as an ultimate authority on Hebrew. Or is it only okay when you do it? Anyways, Wpm moved...

Surely Premils must invent 2 future glorifications days and 2 future raptures separated by 1000 years+?

I did read the hebrew and searched through English translations, I can’t seem to find any translation that agrees with your rendering of it. Maybe I missed one. Could you provide any English translation that agrees with your changing of the passage?

Surely Premils must invent 2 future glorifications days and 2 future raptures separated by 1000 years+?

what form of premil is the OP addressing because I’m unaware of any premil belief in 2 raptures? As to “glorification”, you appear to agree this involves the resurrection - you stated “glorified (changed, made bodily immortal)”. So if the OP is using the 2 glorification events to mean 2...

Surely Premils must invent 2 future glorifications days and 2 future raptures separated by 1000 years+?

A literal word for word of the Hebrew translated into English: 20There is not thence any more a suckling of days, And an aged man who doth not complete his days, For the youth a hundred years old dieth, And the sinner, a hundred years old, is lightly esteemed. It does not say “no longer will...

Surely Premils must invent 2 future glorifications days and 2 future raptures separated by 1000 years+?

My response is in regards to the title of OP, which states premils “must invent…...” A literal reading of revelation 20 presents two resurrections separated by 1000 years, so I disagree with the phrase “invent”, as it’s literally there. But revelation is also first century apocalyptic...

Surely Premils must invent 2 future glorifications days and 2 future raptures separated by 1000 years+?

They didn’t invent it. Revelation, a highly figurative and apocalyptic book on which there is no universal agreement on how to interpret, and whose inclusion into cannon was highly debated and not widely accepted, “revealed” it.

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

I have been talking about psalm 2 this entire time. The warning of “accept correction and serve the Lord or perish”, that is found at the end of psalm 2, is directed, in part or total, at the rebellious kings from vs psalm 2:1-3. So can you explain how Hebrews 12 is relevant to psalm 2’s...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Why are you bringing Hebrews 12 into the psalm 2 discussion? I’m discussing the warning to the rebellious kings and rulers of psalm 2 Psalm 2:10-12 Now therefore understand, ye kings: be instructed, all ye that judge the earth. 11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice in him with trembling. 12...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Are you saying no one outside of “only” Gods people are taught correction, repentance, and to serve the Lord? My main argument, prior to you shoehorning revelation 19 into the discussion, can be found in post 25. After you shoehorned revelation 19 into the discussion, my response can be found...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

My point was that Christ, at his death, resurrection, and ascension, was given the nations as an inheritance, to shepherd with a rod of iron and to dash to pieces. This is demonstrated in revelation 2:26-27. While revelation 19 (vs 19) alludes to verses like psalm 2:1-2, which the book of...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

I agree, it’s not surprising when you make up something I didn’t even say nor argue then disagree with it. Where did I argue that revelation 19 is not about the 2nd advent? Additionally, for argument sake, if I didn’t believe revelation 19 is about the 2nd advent, what does that have to do with...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Ok Great we are in agreement that revelation 19 is about Jesus’ authority over the nations and Him dashing them to pieces for not serving the Lord or accepting the nations. Are we in agreement that Jesus already has authority over the nations, to shepherd/rule with an iron rod and dash to...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

The NT quotes from the LXX version of psalm 2, are you unaware of this? Where did I state revelation 19 was about Jesus correcting the nations? I already stated previously that I think the main point of revelation 19 was Jesus dashing to pieces those that would not serve the Lord or...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

The Septuagint - which is what the NT quotes from. From the LXX: 9Thou shalt shepherd them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces as a potter’s vessel. 10 Now therefore understand, ye kings: be instructed, all ye that judge the earth. 11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice in...
