Easter Celebrations are Worship of the Sun

The brain works on terms….words….images….and experiences. So we have 2 words here that people need to understand. And words have definitions but those definitions can be modified by how they are used in different time periods. Gentile The Greek word most often translated to gentile is ἔθνος...

Easter Celebrations are Worship of the Sun

You keep forgetting something, nowhere in the scriptures is there a requirement for a wedding ceremony to be married and wedding ceremonies are strictly a Pagan custom. Even modern Christian weddings have Pagan aspects to them. Nowhere in the scriptures does it say to build churches ....churches...

Easter Celebrations are Worship of the Sun

Don't worry Dan it is not that simple, but simpletons run their mouths and prove their ignorance. Very few understand or know the process or history of the naming of the days of the week, the months of the year or the planets in every language worldwide or what it would cause to change them….in...

Easter Celebrations are Worship of the Sun

Hobie a cheerleader for insulting Christianity. Might as well join the Jehovah's Witnesses band of anti- Christianity. Christian holidays are a celebration of Christ and are a blessing.

Easter Celebrations are Worship of the Sun

Christian holidays do have Pagan aspects and that is perfectly fine. Do not allow anyone to insult Christian holidays because in effect they are insulting Christianity. Christian holidays brings families together and give an opportunity to celebrate Christ together and what He did for us while...

How the idea of Immortal Soul got into the Church

Immortal…eternal…forever…never ending…Let us mince words. Is it soul or spirit? What does the soul or spirit look like? Where in the body does the soul reside? What is the soul or spirit made of? How does soul or spirit move? Does a soul or spirit have eyes or the capability of sight? If a child...

Interesting that the Bible is "the Word of God", unless someone quotes a translation you disagree with.

You are chasing a ghost. The word wed or wedding is not in the scriptures. The event in Cana is a marriage ...no indication of a ceremony and the story pickups at the "reception" There is a lot more to the history of it, but that information is in the period history, not the scriptures. As I...

At a reception as we would call it. The Marriage at Cana had a celebration which was not uncommon for the Jews, but was it Jewish? Was there a bridle chamber? But so much the scriptures do not detail.

Because it makes sense to you you say it is in the scriptures? The sky is the limit for imagination. Don't try to pretend to be Bible only because it does not matter to you what the scriptures say, you will just add what you want.

Interesting that the Bible is "the Word of God", unless someone quotes a translation you disagree with.

Please note that I said the word wedding is not in the scriptures.....I did not say that the word wedding does not appear in various Bibles. The Hebrew language does not have a word for wed or wedding and the early Christians were not in to ceremonies and rituals because they thought them to be...

Interesting that the Bible is "the Word of God", unless someone quotes a translation you disagree with.

Don't put words in my mouth.....I said the word wedding was not in the scriptures. Christ nor the Apostles talked about a requirement for a wedding to be married. And most people call the whole thing about the ten virgins a parable. Christmas and Easter are great Christian holidays. I never...

Pretty simple....Where did Christ get the ten virgin thing as part of a ceremony?

Well if we are going to put anything we want in the scriptures we can be more imaginative. But... history does have a ten virgin thing....you just have to find it. Again the Apostle did not die at the last page of the Bible....Christianity continued and God was involved.

Interesting that the Bible is "the Word of God", unless someone quotes a translation you disagree with.

The Apostles did not die as I stated? How did they die? 10 virgins....Christ still did not call it a wedding.....And try to find the ten virgin ceremony in the Old or New Testament......Bible only people will never figure it out because the answer is not in the Bible. And you are right....two...

The Bible only people deny themselves the whole story of Christianity. The Apostles did not die at the last page of the Bible....Christianity did not end at the last page of the Bible. God did not retire or go silent at the last page of the Bible. Christmas and Easter are good Christian...

Interesting that the Bible is "the Word of God", unless someone quotes a translation you disagree with.

Easter and Christmas are good Christian holidays. The gentles brought some of their holidays and customs into Christianity, including weddings. The Apostle Paul did not object to this. Emperor Constantine combined some of the dates of the Pagan and Christian holidays so as not to shutdown the...

God the Father,God the Son,God the Holy Spirit are ONE!!!

The oneness concept is a long standing Roman lie out of ecumenical councils to settle arguments about beliefs regarding God the Father and God the Son that Emperor Constantine commanded settled. This belief was mandated under penalty of death or excommunication….much like the statement of faith...
