"If you believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord, and confess with your mouth that he rose from the dead, then you will be saved". Who can understand imputing,hath, and reconciliation? Most people (yes, most) don't have that kind of vocabulary. The Gospel is quite simple, as I have quoted it here.
