    Matthew 24:15. The abomination of desolation, i.e. Roman armies, would be seen by Jesus' disciples. It would be standing in the holy place, the holy city of Jerusalem. Both fulfilled.

    Christ called it His New Covenant. We can't celebrate it unless we've received it. Christ gave it to His disciples and they received it. He gives it to us and we receive it, when we accept Him and His Gift of Salvation. No waiting required.
