Did God commend or approve of Rahab’s lie?

Rehab didn't speak the truth when she said she didn't know where the spies had gone, because when she said that to the soldiers she knew they were on the roof where she had hid them. The simple fact is people don't know the difference between withholding the truth from people who don't deserve...

Did God commend or approve of Rahab’s lie?

People need to understand the truth about the True God YHWH, which is that when it comes to malicious lies the True God is against and always will be against malicious lies, because malicious lies are designed to harm people. However hiding the truth by a lie to protect someone such as a servant...

Did God commend or approve of Rahab’s lie?

At Genesis 20:12 the scriptures show that Sarai is the daughter of Abraham's father but not the daughter of his mother so Sarai was Abraham's half sister. However even though Sarai was the half sister of Abram she was also his wife. However by Abram telling his wife Sarai to say to Pharoah and...

Did God commend or approve of Rahab’s lie?

I disagree, the scriptures make it clear that she made it appear to the soldiers that she didn't know where the spies were. She said that to the soldiers while the spies were hidden on her roof. So Rahab knew exactly where the spies were when she told the soldiers she didn't no where they had gone.

Did God commend or approve of Rahab’s lie?

At Genesis 12:10-13 Abraham led Pharaoh and his people to believe that Sarah was only his wife by telling his wife Sarah to tell Pharoah and his people that she was only his wife.

The scriptures are very clear that Abraham made the king believe and his people that Sarah was only his sister.

Did God commend or approve of Rahab’s lie?

You really can't read what Abraham was influencing the king of the people in the area to believe, can you? The context of those scriptures make it clear that Abraham led the king to believe that his wife was only his sister.

Did God commend or approve of Rahab’s lie?

Lying is the opposite of truth so I'm thinking you honestly believe that both Abraham and Isaac were telling the truth when they made everyone believe that their wives were just their sisters. You're saying they were being honest and truthful?

Did God commend or approve of Rahab’s lie?

The fact that she said she didn't know where they went when she had hid them on the roof among stalks of flax means she knew exactly where they went. They went on the roof with her when she hid them among the stalks of flax. What she told king Jericho soldiers wasn't true. Rahab knew exactly...

Did God commend or approve of Rahab’s lie?

You certainly have the right to disagree. I think however you're disagreeing with God, not me. God inspired James to write that Raʹhab the prostitute was declared righteous by works after she received the messengers hospitably and sent them out by another way at James 2:25. That means that...

    3rd Commandment - God's Holy Name

FOR centuries Judaism has taught that the divine name, Jehovah, is too holy to pronounce.(Psalm 83:18) Many theologians have reasoned that it is disrespectful to address the glorious Creator in such a familiar fashion or even that it constitutes a breaking of the third of the Ten Commandments...

Did God commend or approve of Rahab’s lie?

James 2:23-25 and the scripture was fulfilled that says: “Abraham put faith in Jehovah, and it was counted to him as righteousness,” and he came to be called Jehovah’s friend. You see that a man is to be declared righteous by works and not by faith alone. In the same manner, was not Raʹhab the...

Conclusive That Jesus is AGAINST Weapons!

Matthew 26:51, 52 shows that Jesus didn't condone the action of the apostle who drew a sword and cut a man's ear off. We also have to take John 13:35 into consideration. Do we honestly believe that a Catholic is showing a fellow Catholic love when they have a history of fighting and killing each...

God didn't create evil. He created intelligent beings both angels and humans with the ability to make free moral choices. One of these beings, an angel, chose to focus his mind on himself being worshiped until eventually he acted upon his thoughts, when he deceive Eve into believing that God was...

Jesus is either God or is not God: There is no 'In Between'

robert Derrick said: You are also being hypocritical in capitalizing the Word and the Son. No god is to be capitalized with God, even as there is no god with Him. But it is no small wonder that someone who does not know the Lord God, would care about anything He says. You could at least be...
