The FOUR HORSEMEN of the Apocalypse

It was 2000 years ago, who do you think will remember it? Do you know what was at your neighborhood 2000 Yeats ago?

    Why the great chain?

Possibly referring to an extra storage tower (like adding an extra garage to a modern house)--must make sure you have the money.

The FOUR HORSEMEN of the Apocalypse

The Light noted: <cisterns> Collecting rain water. We do the same. If the Jews did not know their own Messiah, I would not expect them to properly understand prophetic history either. Some did receive Jesus, some still do. It is God's choice (John 14:6).

The FOUR HORSEMEN of the Apocalypse

The light noted: <cisterns> The Spring of Gihon was a chief source of water for ancient Israel, and it is still in use. Cistern collecting rain water were another source. They also use natural freshwater sources, desalination, and wastewater reuse. <still one stone upon another> For the...

    Why the great chain?

I think you cited the wrong Bible passage.

    Why the great chain?

"Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain. And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for one thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it, and sealed it on over him...

Revelation 20:1-15 & the 1,000 years (aka Millennium) Bible Study

Advantages noted: < Elijah never died.> Neither Enoch nor Elijah died, rather they were chosen for a future job. See Revelation 11:3-13, "two witnesses."

Revelation 20:1-15 & the 1,000 years (aka Millennium) Bible Study

o Greek γη = "land" (Oxford Greek Dictionary). o. There was no concept of planet earth in Biblical times. o Today γη could mean planet earth, since *now* we have that concept.

The FOUR HORSEMEN of the Apocalypse

The Light noted: <The Jews know where the Temple mount is> I imagine some do. My point was that the ones praying at the wall of the Antonia do not know. o The Temple was set near the Gihone Spring, since the water was necessary to clean up after the animal sacrifices. The Gihone Spring is not...

When Might Satan With His Angels Come to This Earth For the Tribulation?

    o. Satan was cast down in the early history of the earth, and he tempted Eve to sin (Genesis 3:1-7, Revelation 20:1-3). o. Satan currently roams the earth (1Peter 5:8).

Satan and his demons are real beings/entities (with personalities) not abstract evil within unregenerate man

There was a rebellion in heaven, some angels followed Satan, other angels continued to follow God. Satan *fell,* along with the angels that followed him: איך נפלח משמים הילל "How you *fell* from heaven, Morning Star..." (Isaiah 14:12).
  12. W

    Why the great chain?

At the return of Jesus Satan will be chained and imprisoned deep in the earth for 1000 years (Revelation 20:1-3).

When Might Satan With His Angels Come to This Earth For the Tribulation?

Satan possessed the serpent and deceived Eve (Genesis chapter 3).
  14. W

    Why the great chain?

A great chain binds Satan in Revelation 20:1-3. Presumably it is a metal chain.
  15. W

Satan and his demons are real beings/entities (with personalities) not abstract evil within unregenerate man

That is the way it reads, but it's confusing when translated that way. "Angel" is Greek αγγελος and means "messenger" (Oxford Greek Dictionary). "Ministers" ("those serving") is Greek λειτουργους and means "performing public duties." One way to interpret it: God sends the "ministering" wind...

Jesus said “No man can come to me, except the Father that sent me draw him.”

God is Creator. If anything were to occur outside God's will, then God would not be Creator. See Romans 9:19.

    Does Grace replace the law?

    1. God is the Creator. 2. History is His Story. 3. We are all actors in a play. 4. Free will is a human perception.

Revelation 20:1-15 & the 1,000 years (aka Millennium) Bible Study

IMO: Revelation 20:8 says "four corners of the land" (land =Greek γη). There was no concept of planet earth in Biblical times.

Satan and his demons are real beings/entities (with personalities) not abstract evil within unregenerate man

"For by him *all things* were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible..." (1Colossians 1:16). That is explicit.

    Does Grace replace the law?

    Grace = unmerited favor.
