    Flat Earth Theory

I am no scientist, so I may be wrong, but I would say that the size of the earth is far, far, greater than the size of a cliff, and the earth's gravity pull is much stronger than that of a cliff.

Because, like planes and birds, butterflies are already on the earth before they begin flying, so if the earth is revolving, they are already revolving with it.

I understood the post to be asking you if you had evidence for your statement that there is an ongoing HYBRID program since the 50's. Genesis doesn't mention the 1950s.

But there are flights over Antarctica from various places in Australia. Nothing to do with NASA - I think they are operated by the airline QANTAS. Details at this website: Antarctica Flights from Australia - Antarctica Flights

    Flat Earth Theory

I have read Luke 8:17 again. It talks about hidden things being revealed, and coming to light, but I still see nothing about God splashing people with water to do the revealing, or of Him asking people about gravity.

    Flat Earth Theory

I would never tell God what He can or cannot say. I was responding to what you wrote. "When you stand before God, HE will splash water in your face and Say, gravity???" That was not telling God. It was asking you to tell me where God says in His word that when we stand before Him, He will...

I agree with the truths of those verses, but how do they answer what I posted, which was about Luke 8:17 not mentioning water, God splashing, or gravity.

    Flat Earth Theory

Where in the verse is the word "water?" Yes I was, but baptism isn't mentioned in the verse you quoted either. Because the bible says absolutely nothing about God splashing people's faces with water to expose the lies and other evil within us. Remember, I was replying to your post where you...

But that verse doesn't even mention water, God splashing it in somebody's face, or gravity.

    Flat Earth Theory

I am just wondering what you base the idea of God splashing water in somebody's face on. I cannot think of any bible verse that says anything like that.

John's Revelation - Rightly Divided View

The word translated "dividing" in 2 Timothy 2:15 does not mean cutting something into fractions, like dividing a cake between six people, giving each sixth of the cake. My concordance says: "3718 orthotomeo [or-thot-om-eh -o] from a compound of 3717 and the base of 5114; v; TDNT-...

Nor are we told anywhere in the bible that belief in any particular shape for the earth is a requirement for salvation. I have come across a few Christians who believe that the earth is a flat disc, and many who believe that the earth is a globe.

That doesn't make France visible. (Or the sun once it has set, or a ship that has passed beyond the horizon).

Who really created the Son of God?

I am sorry you felt that way. You statement that the Son of God was created was what stood out to me from your post, and I concentrated on answering that with bible quotes that indicate He was not created. So I don't understand what you say about my post being about two entirely different...

Who really created the Son of God?

I don't understand how you can state what you do about the Son of God being created, in view of the Fact that John's gospel opens in that passage about the Word Who became flesh: “1 ¶ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with...

But there is no terrain on the sea. I live on the south coast of England, but I cannot see France by looking out over the English Channel. There are no buildings in between to stop me seeing France, no mountains or other terrain, just the sea.

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

Yet Jesus Himself said: “17 “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. 18 “No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”” (Joh 10:17-18...

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

So how can he prophecy have been fulfilled, as Matthew 1 says it was, if Jesus was not called Immanuel?

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

Matthew says The Lord did: “22 So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”” (Mt 1:22-23 NKJV)

Can One Be Christian and Not Believe In The Trinity?

It is not complicated, but you still haven't explained why you apparently believe that God the Father gave God the Son a pathetic name.
