Bible Study: The Gospel is in the Torah

@ProDeo This book is about Madame Guyon's journey of becoming a saint. It's with much tribulation that we enter the kingdom of God. There are very, very many layers of "self" or "ego" that the Lord deals with, and very many surrenderings that one must consent to to be able to continue on this...

Bible Study: The Gospel is in the Torah

I'll give you a hint, ProDeo. Look in the concordance at the Greek word G1519 "eis" pronounced "ice", and compare how they translate it. The Bible translates the Bible. With this information, look again at the verses Epi gave you.

Bible Study: The Gospel is in the Torah

I don't think on anything you say, because of statements you say like this: That's just one example. That's where I stopped reading that particular post.

Bible Study: The Gospel is in the Torah

@Lizbeth I suggest you read a book, an autobiography. "Autobiography of Madame Jeanne Guyon" I really think you could benefit from her life experience.

Bible Study: The Gospel is in the Torah

You may not have "meant that" but you did say it... in post #55 when you said, "I was once like you," and then proceeded to explain what you experienced. By saying "I was once like you," you are assuming that Epi's experience is like yours.

Why Did Jesus Have to Die?

@Johann Aphesis means freedom....it is used 17 times in the New Testament and is translated as: deliverance, forgiveness, liberty, and remission by the translators for whatever reasons (use your imaginations).

Why Did Jesus Have to Die?

Why Did Jesus Have to Die?

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance (aphesis) to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty (aphesis) them that are bruised,

    Hidden Mysteries of the Bible

It is impossible to seek for the future. That is a recipe for inactivity and disobedience. Do you think that "seek first the kingdom" means seek later, (or no need to seek now)? Do you hate the idea of having to seek God, as Epi says?? Is that your motivation? Will you deny it? When is it...

    Hidden Mysteries of the Bible

This is a groundless accusation without any scriptural support. Care to share any scriptural support?? From what spirit does this accusation come from??

The 4 Eternal Destinies of Humankind

Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this...

The 4 Eternal Destinies of Humankind

Ronald, what you posted is found in Rev. 20: 13-15 which is the great white throne judgement. Have you considered the Bema seat judgement, as in judgement begins at the house of God. For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be...
