Thanks Davy. Yes, Jesus has many enemies, the least of which (in my opinion) are contemporary Jews.

I believe the things that Jesus directed at the apostles CAN also be inferred (to a point) to apply to future disciples. However, what Jesus said in his "Olivet Discourse" appears to be definitely directed at the Apostles.

He says the Roman Empire.

Ok. So you believe that Jesus will succeed in uniting all things to himself. In other words, all who ever existed will be in God's Kingdom. I agree.

I don't believe that Jesus ever instructed us to use the power of government to force sinners to conform to his values under the threat of imprisonment. I'm sorry to differ with you.
