Why doesn't your "whole Bible view" include Universalism?

No ma'am, we all face this. Were you never perished? Were you never lost? Does the man of sin in you need not be destroyed? Jesus Christ will save all.

Why doesn't your "whole Bible view" include Universalism?

We are all born dead. Spiritually dead. We are born carnal. When we are baptized into Christ we are baptized into his death. Rom 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? That is the death that matters. Heb 9:27 And as it is...

Why doesn't your "whole Bible view" include Universalism?

What was that sin they fell into? And what do you believe "perdition" means?

Why doesn't your "whole Bible view" include Universalism?

I'd say billions, but not forever. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.1Co 5:5-6

Why doesn't your "whole Bible view" include Universalism?

Christ is our saviour. He is very good at saving those who are lost which we all have our part in; being lost that is. Christ will LOSE no one, when its all said and done.

Why doesn't your "whole Bible view" include Universalism?

Dead is dead. No need to add "eternally" to it. When you are dead you will remain dead until you are resurrected. It seems to me, Christianity claims that we do not die with their "eternal life" doctrine.

Why doesn't your "whole Bible view" include Universalism?

I believe in universal salvation. And I believe everyone must die.

Why doesn't your "whole Bible view" include Universalism?

And yet all true. Scripture is full of figurative language, and as you say: Yes we do. Which is none of our doing. It is Christ who heals us, not of ourselves. Sure, his elect and the rest of the world. When you say "offering" you are really putting the onus of salvation on our shoulders...

Why doesn't your "whole Bible view" include Universalism?

What do you do with that? Isaiah 26 9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. Do your reading glasses fog up? Isaiah 45 22 Look unto...

Does reading the Bible make people stupid? - It doesn't have to, but...

    It figuratively blinds people. Peace.

The Rich Man and Lazarus- What Guilt is Laid on the Rich Man?

"CERTAIN" Householder, kinda like "CERTAIN" Rich Man. Maybe you'll catch on to how Christ speaks; maybe Christ will open your eyes. And where might they be? Hades is real, it's the state of death, not some location as the ancient Greeks teach. Perhaps you should worship the Greek God Hades...

The Rich Man and Lazarus- What Guilt is Laid on the Rich Man?

Maybe I'm just a person that believes Jesus Christ. Are you able to be swayed or are you just exuding hypocrisy? Says who, the parable police? And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a CERTAIN RICH MAN brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What...

    Christ's Most Difficult Command

Hello Wrangler. Unbeknownst to most, Jesus very rarely spoke plainly. Many Christians think he did, so they take what he says literally. Luk 18:22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou...

The Rich Man and Lazarus- What Guilt is Laid on the Rich Man?

Yes the post is full of private interpretations. But most Christians have that nasty habit. The irony though is that the very Patriarch, Abraham, who they claim is either in Heaven or some fabled waiting area, was very rich. Go figure.

The Rich Man and Lazarus- What Guilt is Laid on the Rich Man?

The Rich man i.e. group of people, certainly did exercise faith in God. Still do to this day. Unfortunately they eat at a different altar: Heb 13:10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle. It most certainly is. The Parable of the Lost Sheep Luk 15:4...

The Rich Man and Lazarus- What Guilt is Laid on the Rich Man?

The first lesson is that it's a parable and not to be taken literally. Peace.

Why doesn't your "whole Bible view" include Universalism?

All must be destroyed as was Christ. Paul, Peter and all of God's elect and the rest of the church and the sea of humanity must all be destroyed. All too will be saved but in certain order just as St St. Steven has been trying to explain and doing a fine job I might add.

    Few are saved.

What do you suppose follows being born again? Do you think people become instantly spiritual? It sure does. Right, you apparently believe the resurrection is past and that we are in the millennial age? Well, I'll be honest, you really got me confused. Yes that's true. It is Christ, whose...

    Few are saved.

When that word is used it just introduces so much confusion. Prior to becoming immortal one must die the second death, no matter whether you are chosen, or called or a non believer. You're looking well past eonian life and in doing so you ignore the purpose for God's Elect. Sure. It was a...
