Murder, bestiality, abortion, pedophilia, etc., are different than homosexuality in that they involve the victimization of an involuntary, innocent person. Not analogous.

I wouldn't necessarily "support" it, nor would I attempt to use government to stop them from doing so. If Christians want to use government to prevent sinful behavior, why stop at homosexuality?

Very well said, Rita. In my experience, the two most totalitarian segments of society tend to be the political left and the religious right. Both tend to demand conformity to their belief system.

My first vote would be to remove government from the marriage business. Yes, I would vote to legalize same-sex marriage. Should we Christians force non-Christians to bend to our will? Should we outlaw mosques? What's worse, engaging in homosexuality or worshipping another God?
