How about we all stop calling each other names, and instead 1) invest you energy into being a better disciple of Christ yourself (something we all need), and 2) if you desire to bring somebody else to Christ then share things about Christ and bring those to good things to the table.

I agree with the sentiment. But find that calling people "cultists" or "brainwashed" to inherently be arrogant and manipulative. Hence my speaking up here.

In my experience, “cult” and “brainwashed” refer to those whom do not think/learn for themselves, but instead just recite the same words of others, regardless of the situation/ facts they are presented with. There’s also a heavy focus on threatening individuals whom don’t agree with that party...

Actual "Mormon" here. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (nicknamed "Mormons") 100% believe that Jesus Christ 100% divine, the Son of God. It's literally the first Article of Faith. Yes, I'm a Christian. Not a Protestant or Catholic, but Christian nonetheless.

There's literally another thread going on about this right now. In short, my response is: I study scripture the best I can, listening to God along the way. You do the same. And then we treat each other with respect instead of trying to burn one another at the stake.
