I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man

At this point, I am interested in the strength of your belief on this one. Let proposition P1 = God does not want any woman to be a pastor today. P2 = God allows some women to be pastors today. Between 0 and 10, how much weight do you put on each of the above propositions? The stronger your...

I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man

Lexically, the Greek word itself is ambiguous. At Biblehub 51 out of 51 translations use "woman". None uses "wife".

I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man

I do respect your writing :) Let proposition P1 = God does not want any woman to be a pastor today. P2 = God allows some women to be pastors today. Between 0 and 10, how much weight do you put on each of the above propositions? The stronger your belief in a proposition, the higher the weight.

I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man

This is the 3rd and last time I ask you: Do you have any scholarly references to support your claim other than your own reasoning and your own sense of right and wrong? I am looking for some external support other than your own self. Is that too much to ask of you? I am not asking you or anyone...

Let us make man in our IMAGE

ESV Genesis 1: What does it mean? Let's continue with the rest of the verse: Like God, man has authority. We have authority over the earth and everything on it. Psalm 8 echoes the same idea: That's meaning #1. 2. Exodus 20: We are made in the image of God. We do not worship other humans...

    Dinosaurs

    Define brontosaurus.

    Dinosaurs

The paleontologists' dinosaurs were not on the ark. I don't know about your dinosaurs because you have not given me an operational definition of what you mean by "dinosaurs". Can you define your dinosaurs operationally?

    Dinosaurs

What you think are dinosaurs and what paleontologists think are dinosaurs are two different things.

    When were angels created?

So when were angels created? Before Day 1, right?
  11. TonyChanYT

    When were angels created?

Right. Now, let me rephrase the question: Were angels created before Day 1 in Genesis?
  12. TonyChanYT

    Dinosaurs

That's not the definition used by paleontologists.

No one has ever seen God. Really?

By "Spiritual form", I meant the form that angels saw.

    Dinosaurs

    Define dinosaur.
  15. TonyChanYT

No one has ever seen God. Really?

Some angels see the spiritual form of God. Matthew 18: The little ones are child-like believers.

    Dinosaurs

According to paleontologists, dinosaurs went extinct about 65 million years ago (at the end of the Cretaceous Period), after living on Earth for about 165 million years. As a technical term, dinosaur is not written in the Bible. Nevertheless, God could have created the earth with embedded...

Can a Christian be a professional soldier?

Yes, according to John the Baptizer, Luke 3: John didn't tell them to quit their jobs. God uses his army, Matthew 22: Some centurions in the NT became Christians and I don't think they quit their day jobs. If it bothers your conscience to be a soldier, you may want to quit.

    When were angels created?

So, how would you phrase the question: When were angels created?

No one has ever seen God. Really?

Good find :) Isaiah 6: This was a vision in Isaiah's brain. He saw the Lord and some angelic beings in the heavenly realm. He was awake. It was not a dream. It was a vision. He saw a spiritual reality in his vision. He saw spiritual forms with his spiritual eyes in a spiritual vision.
