Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

I feel like I should say, God sort of told me "modelling your response to Evolution, on the basis of the Holy Spirit (sin/righteousness/judgment) is a good thing". When it comes to mutation (which we read 'sin'), being ready to move the mutation to elimination is a good thing. When it comes to...

I feel a little uncertain, calling myself a 'newbie' - but I need help (and once upon a time, I *was* a newbie!)

Hi there, So there is this dilemma I am in, about my relationship to God. I know relationship is important, but if its important, then how you define it is important too, right? So I have this understanding, in my head, that I have my side to the relationship I have with God, and God has His...

Judas Went to His Own Place – A Biblical Verdict of Eternal Judgment

The Gate in Heaven, that Judas overlooked, remains closed (not locked, closed). The Gate in Heaven, that Thomas overlooked, remains nearly closed (not always nearly closed, but mostly).

What do you think was God`s Purpose in making - the Nations, Israel and the Body of Christ?

The nations stop people fighting or trying to build a tower to God. Israel was necessary that the Messiah come forth. The Body of Christ was necessary that Salvation be extended to every Man (if God did not, the nations and Israel would perish).

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

Humanely speaking, I have come to understand that: In other words, believing that Man came from monkeys, hurts your ability to be more of a Man in future. That's not wrong, if you think you are Man enough; but neither is that humble.

    QUOTE for the day

In Heaven, God keeps getting realer; if you can't handle that, you have not yet been convicted that on Earth, Jesus' Place keeps getting bigger (selah)

If you have time for a little prayer, please pray for my Mum - Mum has nausea (I'm hoping it will pass, Lord willing)

Hi there, So yes, if you could just pray a short prayer, for my Mum's nausea, I'm sure that would have a great effect. It started this morning. I rebuke the Devil for confusing my Mum and I plead the Blood of the Lamb over her inner ear, In Jesus' Name Amen. Thanks guys, you really are there...

    What’s Your Favorite Verse?

I have to go with @RedRobyn "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do". Someone asked what they should put on a billboard (outside their home) and I said "that covers everything". I was tempted to choose "Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on, for their works will follow...

Black and white as it appears?

It's not black and white, but hot or cold.

No puppies and kittens in heaven? - Why not?

People have souls, animals have essences. If God can use the blood of something with an essence, to remind someone with a soul of their eternal destiny, in what sense is that essence not Heavenly?

True repentance, leads to godly sorrow (selah)

Hi there! So I wanted to discuss the Cross for a moment. You know that Jesus said "My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death" (Matthew 26:38)? Think for a moment with me, why did Jesus say that? It is because our Cross is a burden. In other words, if you are taking up your Cross, you will...

Jesus doesn't just become 'sin', He puts sin out of reach (selah)

Brother, I did not suggest that Christ was not penitent at the resurrection. I am saying before He was penitent, He had reverence for God and the Cross, that no one could take away from Him. If Christ had not placed 'sin' out of reach, you would not be talking as you are now.

I abandoned or exchanged my faith

You are confusing striving to be perfect, with becoming irrational? There is temptation to be irrational, but that does not disqualify perfection if it is confessed. Then you say "Jesus was not religious", but Jesus says "you have to try to remember as many of my words as you can" (we will have...

Am I crazy, or is advertising targeted in ways that I'm not even aware I am asking for? (really?)

I've started to pray about it! And the advertising started focusing on cleaning feet (like Jesus?)

The Bible is not “Gods Word.” It's simply "The Bible."

The Bible starts with the Spirit of God moving over the waters. It's not a big stretch of the imagination to infer, that He does so because He is desiring to possess something beneath it. Well so, if the Bible is inspired by this and God wishes to possess it (His Word), how is it not God's Word...

Is Truth Relevant? True and False are opinions. - True or False?

I have a disagreement with the idea that it is the "relevance" of the truth, that needs to be weighed. The truth is people would rather agree than disagree about the truth; the thing is coming to agreement about the truth, takes more than mere words. If you focus on "relevance", but you don't...

Jesus doesn't just become 'sin', He puts sin out of reach (selah)

Hi there, So this is something that will certainly enhance your understanding of the Cross, if not sin and temptation. What I want you to do is look at the Cross. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:21 "He who knew no sin, became sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God". Now...

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

It has come to my attention, that there is confusion about what God wants us to change. No matter how we change, God has to want to abide in us, despite the change (selah). When we do change, we have to repeat what we know, in order to vary it - so in essence, who we are can never ultimately...

Reader Poll - Would you be a Christian if there was no afterlife?

Two things: one, God would understand; two, there are degrees of denial - denial in a moment of torture does not rate very highly.

I guess I am just concerned that you will be frustrated by a new thread opening, after closing one like it.
