    Baptism ?

I specifically showed you with scripture Gen. 17:12, Lev. 12:3 – these texts show the circumcision of eight-day old babies as the way of entering into the Old Covenant. You are always going off about Israel, Israel, Israel, so when I give you Israel, Israel, Israel, you run around in circles...

    Built On The Wrong Apostle

The same twenty scriptures that refutes your man made system? And that's why you ignore post #367? Scripture speaks of faith and obedience and you deny them because you are too proud to admit their truth. I have no idea why that is perceived as a threat.

    Baptism ?

No specific list of NT books are just for Israel, they are for the human race.

    Built On The Wrong Apostle

You are ignoring post #367 and working out your salvation by strutting your ego and mouthing off. Accusing BoL of "works salvation" is standard prot myth making. It also proves you can't read. John 3:36; Rom. 1:5, 6:17; 15:18; 16:26; 2 Cor. 9:13; 1 Thess. 1:3; 2 Thess. 1:11; 1 Peter 2:7-8; Heb...

    Baptism ?

Find any Bible canon anywhere in the world that compiled 59, 60, or 66 books before the 14th century, and then I will take you seriously.

    Baptism ?

Gen. 17:12, Lev. 12:3 – these texts show the circumcision of eight-day old babies as the way of entering into the Old Covenant. Col 2:11-12 – however, baptism is the new “circumcision” for all people of the New Covenant. Circumcision therefore must have been metaphorical. DUH! DUH!

    Baptism ?

You can't reason with a person who has been duped by doctrine that is less than 10 years old. Metaphorical or gospel water is not Christianity. Facts, scriptures, 2000 years of consistent teaching and practice, and common sense is of no avail. I would like to know the name of his group but I...

    Built On The Wrong Apostle

John 3:36; Rom. 1:5, 6:17; 15:18; 16:26; 2 Cor. 9:13; 1 Thess. 1:3; 2 Thess. 1:11; 1 Peter 2:7-8; Heb. 5:9; cf. Rev. 3:10; Ex. 19:5 – this faith must also be an “obedient faith” and a “work of faith.” Obedience means persevering in good works to the end. 2 Cor. 10:15 – this faith must also...

    Seemingly Anti-OSAS Scriptures

You make some good points. Super-pope Matt Slick is a cult leader and his site is a snake pit. I stopped going there. If my posts don't get deleted over biased rule violations, they get buried under an avalanche of CARMinions.

    Seemingly Anti-OSAS Scriptures

If we are forced to remain saved, then we have no free will.

    3d/3n is NOT an idiom!

Two verses doesn't disprove 3d and 3n idiom either. I did a search for "three days and three nights hebrew idiom" and I got 147,000 results, most of them Jewish. A 3d and 3n idiom resolves the scriptural gymnastics of 3 24 hour days.

    CATHOLIC BASHING THREAD TITLES

The only reason we defend the Church is that we don't think anti-Catholics should get away with attacking it, which is NOT the will of the Father.

    CATHOLIC BASHING THREAD TITLES

Melanchthon accepted the chairmanship of the secular inquisition that suppressed the Anabaptists in Germany with imprisonment or death. . . . he was convinced that God had destined all Anabaptists to hell. (Durant, 423) The persecution of the Anabaptists began in Zurich . . . The penalties...

    Seemingly Anti-OSAS Scriptures

I have a scripture study. Scripture citations are followed by a brief exegesis. Jesus’ Teaching on Losing Salvation Matt. 7:18 – Jesus says that sound trees bear good fruit. But there is no guarantee that a sound tree will stay sound. It could go rotten. Matt. 7:21 – all those who say “Lord...

Is wearing jewellery with the cross or crucifix a form of idolatry?

REFORMATION WALL Good Protestant Idols John Calvin, William Farel, Théodore de Bèze and John Knox Worshiped by Protestants since 1908 The letters at the base stands for Egyptian deities Isis, Horus and Seth, in honor of the great historian Alexander Hislop! Good idols found in millions of...

Is wearing jewellery with the cross or crucifix a form of idolatry?

Biblical Evidence for Worship of God Via an Image Sometimes we miss things in the Bible, though they are right in front of us. Some of our Protestant brethren (mainly Calvinists but some other denominations as well) have an almost obsessive fear of any image associated with worship at all...

Is wearing jewellery with the cross or crucifix a form of idolatry?

You are making a big mistake. The book ('The Two Babylons') was certainly fascinating but I recall being disturbed that almost none of Hislop's claims could really be substantiated by any reputable source, although it was certainly 'meat and drink' to the gullible. I did not entirely reject...

    Seemingly Anti-OSAS Scriptures

I think a majority of Christians cannot lose their salvation, provided the persevere to the end. The "assurance" we get is after death, and not before. There is no trace of OSAS being taught anywhere on the planet until John Calvin invented it.

Is wearing jewellery with the cross or crucifix a form of idolatry?

Says who? Alexander Hyslop? Nobody "needs" such things. You completely miss the point. It has been demonstrated *repeatedly* that having such things is NOT idolatry. There is nothing Biblical about radical iconoclasm.
