    Flash 0day [Now Patched]

I take that back. There was an update for my system today, but I guess it took a week which is unusual. No more warnings, but I still don't really use flash much.

    Flash 0day [Now Patched]

My firefox still gives a warning each time I try to use flash despite updates-- not that I want to use it anyway. I've disabled it long time ago on this laptop and tower computer upstairs. As a matter of fact, the tower was getting so old harware-wise it would not even run flash any longer...

    Third temple

I'm not sure what you mean by "would you do it"? As only the priests can sacrifice animals. But if I were a priest, yes. I don't hate animals, but if one is required for the sacrifice (as God's Son was sacrificed) then yes.

    I love Jesus but..

All: I think the true church is "going underground". I have a private bible study with other women on Thursdays. Everyone there, save one, basically left the organized church. I also like to keep the commandments. I realize it DOES NOT SAVE anyone, but if one is saved the tendency will be...

    Third temple

The announcement came out. It's a program to support red heiffer raising. They can't build a temple without one. This way more people can feel a part of rebuilding it. Knowing me, I'd raise one and it would end up on my dinner table before it got to Israel. :P

    A Day Begins At Sunrise

I'm not getting emotional at all. Sounds more like you are a tad. However, one has to understand time to keep calendars, calculations and the telling of time. But I'll just end here that you are saying that for the record, (since you tacked on the extra 12 hours for the 9th day in the...

    A Day Begins At Sunrise

Nobody changed it from the tenth. It says to keep it from even to even. The even of the 9th (that's as the 9th day closes) to the even of the tenth i.e. the 10th day is closing. He did not say to keep it from morning until morning. To keep it from even until even (sundown) is quite clearly...

Counting Hours (In The Bible), Mark 15:25 & John 19:14 Exegesis

Fair enough, I was just misguided into thinking you were trying to get into the technical aspect a little more since that's the topic of this thread, and how accurately to the very second you had the hours defined in the above post. That seems to go contrary to what you are telling me now about...

    A Day Begins At Sunrise

I acknowledge that the month starts at the sighted new moon in Israel. One has to watch for it, and this is what Jesus meant by the feast of trumpets "no man knows the day or hour". We know when it's at the door step, but nobody knows when the exact day is. The only problem is that since it's...

    Stellarium software

Well, I don't believe any longer that it's all in the "tribulation period". I believe what is commonly called the Tribulation is really two parts: the Tribulation and the "Day of the Lord" commonly lumped together and not distinguished from each other. But.... if you have to place it in the...

    Stellarium software

Stellarium just rightly claims the sun and moon are in that position on that date. But there's other dates that fits it as well in September of various years. I won't get into the meaning of it as not everyone agrees Revelation 12:1 is yet future. Also, if nothing happens on that date...

Counting Hours (In The Bible), Mark 15:25 & John 19:14 Exegesis

Yes. Simple observation, around the time the Lord was crucified, would show the sun rising pretty close to due east, setting near due west and reaching an altitude shy of 60 degrees altitude in the south (they knew their directions). Even back then with observation one could see the sun made a...

    Stellarium software

Greetings. I can answer that for you. Some people believe that certain passages in the bible, and I have Revelation 12:1 in mind, are suggestive of an astronomical position. While the woman, the sun, moon and crown of stars have a symbolic significance for sure regarding characters, the...

    Third temple

Nice video. Thanks for sharing. To all: Besides the Temple Institute, I ran across this web site awhile back where this lady figured out where she believes the temple was located: http://www.templemountlocation.com . She has a free online book (.pdf format) that cliams it was actually near...

Counting Hours (In The Bible), Mark 15:25 & John 19:14 Exegesis

Yes, that indeed is really crude. First of all, I think you mean one arm horizontal to the ground and one pointing at the sun at high noon, not perpendicular to the ground as the sun in Israel never gets that high. Then take half that height. Even then that's crude. The sun around the equinox...

    Third temple

Hey all: As a side note here, I follow the temple institute's posts, web site and FB messages. Did y'all hear there's some sort of a big annouuncement from them coming this July 12? Many assume that it's an announcement to rebuild the temple. However, that said, I know that Yahuda Glick was...

    A Day Begins At Sunrise

Zeke25; I'm just curious what criteria you believe they used to start the month? If you already have a thread on that if you could point that out, please as I'm a little new here. Thanks.

Counting Hours (In The Bible), Mark 15:25 & John 19:14 Exegesis

Greetings. To make this topic a tad more digestible, as mentioned, hours in a day vary depending on the season. That's because today we use equinoctial hours. Back in Christ's time, they used seasonal hours. The difference is that equinoctial hours are equal in length, just as a quart of milk...
