    HERESY?

This site is ecumenical and over the last 10 years I've encountered cultists with great regularity, many of whom deny the divinity of Christ, many who are enemies of the cross, many who are proponents of self righteousness, many who reject scripture for tradition. Our 21st century culture is in...

    HERESY?

I try to tread lightly with the carnal minded, but my Lord never instructed me to tolerate lies. Misunderstanding something isn't sin. Even teaching error, strictly speaking isn't sin. God measures the intent of the heart, something we can't do, but some folks here actually believe that they...

    HERESY?

That wasn't insult, but factual. A liar tells lies. Do you want a definition? If you want to be christ like, you should walk as He did and Christ didn't tolerate lies.

    HERESY?

Of course not, but asserting that something is found in scripture, when it isn't is either a lie or just a proof of ignorance. When someone accuses you of saying something that you've never said, or of believing things which you don't believe, that person is giving false testimony and literally...

    HERESY?

Duh. You claimed that the septuagint proved Jesus used leavened bread for the passover. That's impossible. The vulgate is not the septuagint and was written centuries after the septuagint. Scholars are reasonably confident that the septuagint was written about 300 years before the birth of...

    HERESY?

The world reckons the beginning of the day as sunrise, but the Jews have always reckoned the beginning of the day as sunset based upon the account of creation. There was darkness in creation before there was light. 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the...

    HERESY?

Again, the new testament is not in the septuagint. The Septuagint is a Greek translation of the Old Testament written for the "Greek speaking" Jews of the diaspora. The only mention of Jesus in the Septuagint is entirely prophetic and there are no descriptions of the last supper before it happened.

    HERESY?

This is a lie. The septuagint was written before the birth of Christ, before the New Testament was written. Using Greek words doesn't make you a scholar. Asserting that a fiction is true just identifies you as delusional.

    HERESY?

Provide a verse and stop telling lies.

Can the seal be broken? Lack of trust? Grieve the Holy Spirit?

I'm sorry, but you're just making stuff up based upon some ridiculous label that some carnal minded person invented. OSAS is an artificial term and no one is saved by believing it. Hypergrace is another made up term made up by people who watch too much science fiction. If you have to divide...

Times Jesus contradicted/"override" the Old Testament

Jesus sometimes referred to "your law " instead of Moses, because the Jews generally held to the Talmud and oral traditions of law, not just Moses. There are huge differences between Moses and the traditions. At least one Rabbi has instructed followers who had the impulse to have a forbidden...

Times Jesus contradicted/"override" the Old Testament

There's actually another law which allows the poor to walk through the standing grain and eat as they go, so the accusers in that instance were believing Talmud rather than Moses (Talmud goes to great lengths to define work and is based upon Rabbinical opinions.)

Times Jesus contradicted/"override" the Old Testament

Jesus taught the law, there was no New Covenant yet, but He certainly knew about it and His purpose in establishing it. Jesus went to great lengths to establish that salvation was an impossibility for men, yet 2000 years later, people that claim to believe Him are still trying to make their own...

Times Jesus contradicted/"override" the Old Testament

To answer your question, every accuser of the brethren that slithers around this site trying to convince us that Jesus isn't God, that His word can't be trusted, and that only those who agree with their lies can be saved (if they do enough not to loose their salvation.)

Times Jesus contradicted/"override" the Old Testament

The verse doesn't apply. This was the law for the order of Aaron, not Melchizedek. As far as we know, Melchizedek wasn't even Hebrew.

Can the seal be broken? Lack of trust? Grieve the Holy Spirit?

Of course you don't need to believe in OSAS. If you have His Spirit, you're saved reguardless of how simple or carnal your understanding is. So yes, thank God for His salvation. You haven't a snowflakes chance in hell of preserving your own.

Can the seal be broken? Lack of trust? Grieve the Holy Spirit?

If you went to a seminary, You should request a refund. All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. John 6:37 Are you suggesting that Jesus was mistaken or lied ?
  18. M

    HERESY?

Yes, the Bible contrasts good and evil, but leaven always represents a corrupting influence in spiritual terms, but if you're not spiritual, you'll never understand spiritual things. Jesus never said that He was leavened bread or ate leavened bread for the passover. [comment removed]
  19. M

    HERESY?

Jesus did not use leavened bread for the passover and even if He was willing to violate the feast, neither John or Peter would do so. Where did you get this fiction? The bread of haste, the bread of the passover, is unleavened. It was made without using yeast and the time it takes for yeast to...

Can the seal be broken? Lack of trust? Grieve the Holy Spirit?

2 Peter 2 is a chapter not a verse. Are you confessing your hidden side? Forgive me for not valuing the testimony of "believers " with such great conviction that they hide behind false identity.
