    A Calvinist Conversation with God

Your unreasonable bias against Calvin is well know. You bias is such that you regard Calvin's as not being Christian, yet history has this list of people where they all non-Christian. Famous Calvinists Of The Past: Arthur W. Pink: 1886-1952 (Bible teacher, theologian and author of “The...

    Unforgiveness and fellowship with God

Jesus did not forgive his killers. He handed them over to God the Father to see that justice was done. Yes on the cross Jesus paid the penalty foe All our sins, but that does not equate to him forgiving All. Forgiveness is conditional upon repentance. We as imitators of Jesus follow his...

Was Bible Possession banned by the Catholic Church

Adding my threepenny worth. http://justforcatholics.org/a198.htm This Catholic site acknowledges that the rcc did stop the laity from reading the bible. From my own experience, I've worked with rcc's one of whom was proud to posses a family bible complete with a bishops permission for them...

Responding to Someone Who WANTS to Go to Hell

Something that is both unbiblical and unscientific. If this was someone you worked with or met socially, it would be worth asking her for the evidence for her belief a nd to talk about the scientific evidence for the universe having a beginning. One could also move on to ask why she doesn't...

Was the Father's will always subordinate to the Son's will?

Jesus was illustrating that if it was necessary to fight he had overwhelming forces at his disposal. As Jesus was being obedient to his Father's will, there was no way he would call for those angel forces.

o ye who believe convert a muslim to the truth

The bible is a library of different books, history, poetry, legal, mystical allegorical apocalyptic. Depending on the literary style so we understand them. The gospels are written as historical prose that is to be understood as such. Jesus is not a symbol for the truth, he is the truth.

Come out of the House of Bondage

John Owen wrote, " If you want extraordinary e periences of God, enlarge your ordinary devotions." In other words get involved in bible reading, study, active intelligent prayer and join in corporate worship and service. Ephesians 6 armour of God passage...

Clearly all of evil is good

While many non Christians do fantastic good deeds, works etc there good acts gets them no closer to God than non Christians who don't do good deeds. Hebrews 11:6 New International Version6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he...

o ye who believe convert a muslim to the truth

Again false statements. Jesus said I Am the way, the truth and the life, no one come to the Father except by me. At his baptism God the Father declared, This is My beloved Son. As John says In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the...

o ye who believe convert a muslim to the truth

Sorry this is nonsense. Truth is what most accurately describes a situation, an event or all of creation. As a Christian you are aware that Jesus is the Truth and the only way to God, so all religions, beliefs, faiths etc that don't recognise this are by default wrong.

How to deal with online atheist arguments

Ist thing is for ministers and youth leaders to train, not teach, their church to defend their faith. That means actually teaching them what Christianity is and to expose them to the arguments used by atheists and how to answer them. Coldcasechristia ity is a good place to start with.

    Trouble with self-esteem?

Somethings do, a broken bone is not a spiritual issue, telling someone with a physical issue to read the bible etc is very dangerous. How do you after reading two or three sentences know the most appropriate treatment for someone?

    Opinion please

Talk to your parents, get advice about dealing with an observer stalker and block him from all contact. If he has been pressurising you for s3x that falls under abuse and you need legal advice.

Do you not understand that what goes into the body, goes into the stomach, and is eliminated? (Jesus!)

You are writing nonsense. Go to any restaurants, café, bar etc and ask them about food hygiene, or talk to a doctor about how 9ne can be infected because of what one has eaten. Jesus was not talking about physical health but about spiritual purity and how what we eat does not affect...

    Opinion please

Why the irreversible option of surgery? You don't want children, thats fine. So don't get married, don't have sex and you will never have children. As has already been suggested, talk to your parents, talk to your minister, talk to a Christian councelor/doctor. Surgery will never heal mental...

    Trouble with self-esteem?

There are many reasons for low self esteem, not all are simply spiritual. To apply a spiritual answer to a mental health issue is like putting a leg in plaster when the patient has a skin complaint. We are not doctors and our advice has to reflect that.

Uzzah and the Arc of the Covenant

Ah yes, good old Calvin and his strict desire to see God honoured in the daily lives of ordinary people. We do not live in a society where God is honoured, the reverse is in fact true. So it is up to each Christian to live as they are taught in a Christ like lifestyle.

You Serve God your way, I serve God my way, but what do the Bible say?

It helps if you identify and provide examples of claims like the 2st sentence quoted. As for people being confused and not attending church, the non christians I've talked with, arn't confused they have no interest in Christianity.
