Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

No, but I am quoting the words of John, who says he saw martyred saints who lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years! That tells us these martyred saints, before dying, lived and reigned with Christ during this period John writes "a thousand years". The passage does NOT say these...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

As you point out there are those called blessed and holy that shall reign with Christ a thousand years. If they shall reign with Christ for a thousand years after Christ comes again, what about the martyred saints who have lived and reigned with Christ already before dying for a thousand years...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Who will reign with Christ for one thousand years? What unfulfilled promises for ethnic Israel that is not inclusive for people of all nations?

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

If the Kingdom of God in the world to come signifies a millennial reign of/with Christ, it would not be "life everlasting." Because a thousand years has both a beginning and ending and is not the eternal/everlasting/unending life promised to whosoever believes Christ.

    Elijah shall come before Christ?

The answer is found when we understand that John the Baptist was not Elijah who was to physically come again, but was the SPIRIT of Elijah (Elias). Luke 1:13-17 (KJV) But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and...

Does Understanding Eschatology Prove You Are Saved?

I've grown weary of this discussion! Thanks for all the sound biblical contributions to this discussion!

Does Understanding Eschatology Prove You Are Saved?

No different than natural, unbelieving mankind! They heard but did not believe, because they did not have faith of Christ to believe! Yet, faith comes by hearing the Word of God, so why did they not have faith in Christ after hearing the Word of God? Where do you find this strange doctrine...

Does Understanding Eschatology Prove You Are Saved?

The invitation comes through the message; the gospel of the Kingdom of God invites every man without exception or distinction to HEAR of Christ. Because FAITH comes by hearing, hearing by the Word. The one who hears the message about the spiritual Kingdom of God through Christ and believes...

Does Understanding Eschatology Prove You Are Saved?

Scripture does not speak of everlasting/eternal life being OFFERED! It speaks of the gift of everlasting/eternal life being GIVEN to whosoever believes on Christ! The gospel of the Kingdom of God, or the message/good news is OFFERED freely without distinction to humanity. Through the gospel...

Does Understanding Eschatology Prove You Are Saved?

What else could I think since you believe when Scripture says "all" in connection with eternal life it means every single human? I don't believe you doubt the power of God to accomplish whatsoever He wills and will bring to pass whatsoever He wills. If it is God's desire to save all of...

Does Understanding Eschatology Prove You Are Saved?

Are you a universalist? Either all mankind shall be eternally saved, or atonement is limited to whosoever believes. Which do you believe is biblical?

Does Understanding Eschatology Prove You Are Saved?

I don't deny the doctrine of limited atonement! That's why when I read the word "all" when linked to eternal life, I understand it to mean without distinction, never without exception.

Does Understanding Eschatology Prove You Are Saved?

When reading "all" in these verses, do you believe it means without exception, or without distinction?

Does Understanding Eschatology Prove You Are Saved?

What I often find with Christians who deny the doctrine of 'limited atonement' is their lack of understanding the tiny little word "all".

Does Understanding Eschatology Prove You Are Saved?

We should know the objective of a wolf! The difficult thing is to know the objective of a wolf wearing sheep's clothing!

When Christ returns, we shall all be changed, including heaven and earth, actually all things are changed out for something better.

Every eye means exactly that! The return of Christ will be visibly seen in the cloud to those who are still physically alive at His coming. All those who have physically died and in the graves shall also visibly see His return in the flesh when they are physically resurrected to stand before...

When Christ returns, we shall all be changed, including heaven and earth, actually all things are changed out for something better.

You repeatedly present three bodily resurrections without giving any supporting Scripture. I wouldn't think discussing this as being off topic. The bodily resurrection of ALL who are in the graves is certainly relevant to the return of Christ, which I believe is the point the OP is making. When...

When Christ returns, we shall all be changed, including heaven and earth, actually all things are changed out for something better.

You haven't simply read another point of view; you have embraced this unbiblical point of view! If you are a person of faith endowed with the Spirit of Christ, you have the ability within yourself to be able to discern what is truth and what is deception. It doesn't appear that you have done...
