When Christ returns, we shall all be changed, including heaven and earth, actually all things are changed out for something better.

You've shown in another reply that you understand how the word "see" can mean visibly or mentally. See in this verse is eido which means the some standing here would not die before understanding the Son of man coming in His Kingdom. After receiving the Spirit, the disciples would understand...

Matthew 10:23 (KJV) But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. [the verse is saying "till the Son of man ACCOMPANY you] Come is defined - accompany, appear, bring...

When Christ returns, we shall all be changed, including heaven and earth, actually all things are changed out for something better.

There are only two ages of the world, the world of this age comprised of time, and the world in the eternal age when time shall be no longer. Luke 18:30 (KJV) Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting. Luke 20:34-35 (KJV) And Jesus...

Since it is without doubt that Christ did not physically come in 70 AD, prove from the Word of God using the plain words of Scripture without spiritualizing what you cannot biblically prove that He has already returned!

Instead of questioning my intellect, perhaps you should question the inconsistencies in your unbiblical doctrine??? This generation is inclusive of the entire posterity of Father Abrham, including Christ! Both Abraham's biological seeds, as well as those who are of Abraham's supernatural SEED...

When Christ returns, we shall all be changed, including heaven and earth, actually all things are changed out for something better.

If saints had been bodily resurrected from the graves when Christ resurrected, how can they be first-fruits with Christ since they were not resurrected physically immortal & incorruptible? They all died again, there is no record of any human being physically alive for some two thousand years...

When Christ returns, we shall all be changed, including heaven and earth, actually all things are changed out for something better.

Since the Greek word "genea" (generation), is derived from the Greek word "genos" it's not a stretch, nor improbable that when Christ said, "this generation" He was speaking of all the seeds of Abraham, called Israel. Abraham's generation, offspring, kin, country men, same stock, both...

You seem to be reading your bias for your doctrine into this and many other texts of Scripture rather than allowing the Scripture to inform your doctrine. 1 Peter 4:1-7 (KJV) Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that...

Your argument is against that which is plainly written in the Bible! I gave you supporting text, but sadly, in order for you to continue to espouse your unbiblical doctrine (Preterist) you refuse to receive the truth from the Word of God!

When Christ returns, we shall all be changed, including heaven and earth, actually all things are changed out for something better.

What's the difference? No longer delay is really no different than time no longer. When will this be? With the sounding of the seventh trumpet, the mystery of God finished, as declared through His servants the prophets from the beginning. Revelation 10:5-6 (KJV) And the angel which I saw...

When Christ returns, we shall all be changed, including heaven and earth, actually all things are changed out for something better.

Speaking to the disciples with Him, Christ did NOT tell them His visible coming would be visibly observed by them. Read and accept the words Christ spoke to them of His coming that THEY not YE "shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." Matthew...

When Christ returns, we shall all be changed, including heaven and earth, actually all things are changed out for something better.

Because Christ shall return when the seventh/last trumpet sounds, and not before. Since the last trumpet did not sound the arrival of Christ coming in the clouds in the first century, and in fact the final trumpet still has not yet sounded, that which was near/soon to come to pass cannot be the...

Yes, for now, only the spirit within faithful man, through the Spirit of Christ in us posses eternal life. Even though our flesh is destined to die, when we are indwelt with the Spirit of Christ our spirit is justified/made righteous in Christ before God forever.

Exactly! And only the body of Christ was resurrected immortal to never die again. The Old Covenant saints coming out of the graves could not have been physical like the immortal body of Christ. They would not receive immortality & incorruptibility physically until the seventh/last trumpet...

The question is what exactly does the vision show was shortly/near in the days of John? I know as a Preterist you will not agree, but it could not have been the coming of Christ as described from the Mount of Olives!

NO IT DOES NOT! This is what you must read into the verse. Prove, if you can, what you allege through the Scriptures!

When Christ returns, we shall all be changed, including heaven and earth, actually all things are changed out for something better.

This is true! However, you greatly err trying to apply the words Christ spoke from the Mt of Olives to these first century saints alone! The discourse was spoken to them, and they were given a mandate to tell people from every nation of the earth the Gospel as well as all they had witnessed...

When Christ returns, we shall all be changed, including heaven and earth, actually all things are changed out for something better.

Where do we read these Old Covenant faithful saints who were in the graves were BODILY resurrected, and went into the streets of JERUSALEM? The text says simply that graves were opened, and many bodies of the saints came out of the graves and went into the HOLY CITY, Matthew 27:52-53 (KJV)...

The problem for Preterists is the same as that of Christian Zionists dispensationalism. Being consumed with Israel of Old they fail to understand the Kingdom of Old that was a literal physical Kingdom of God is changed through Christ into a spiritual Kingdom of God that Christ ushered in when...
