Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

Your self justification doesn't wash, Hidden.

What do you reverence? - misplaced worship?

Everyone's paradigm will come out in the wash. All the yada yada in justification of ones words will be salted with fire.

The deepest human desire. - The longing to be safe at home.

Seeing you are so sure of your position, I guess we'll just have to wait to see how things pan out. Numbers it appears are the bottom line for you. You assume that volume equals weightiness and accuracy.

What do you reverence? - misplaced worship?

Jeremiah 13:23 Can an Ethiopian change his skin or a leopard its spots? Neither can you do good who are accustomed to doing evil. Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.

There two things I need to repeat in reply.... 1.....You have snowed yourself with your own rhetoric, ie one deduction (form of logic) rolls into another and continues. Subsequently the inevitable truck load of words...... to say what otherwise can be said in few words. 2.....Re God's Kingdom...

What do you reverence? - misplaced worship?

Irreverence amounts to the condemnation of others. To condemn those whom God has forgiven leaves no room to tell them THE Good News. All that is left is to advise them; to insist they jump through your favourite hoops while kidding yourself you have been a faithful witness to God.

What is 'called into marvelous light'?

What is 'called into marvelous light'? It means to trust his gracious promises of forgiveness. It walks hand in hand with seeing others in the same in the same light. How you relate with those opposed is the evidence of what you believe God has promised.

    The PARODY collection #1

You can be assured that God's word is Jesus. That which is attributed to God in many cases is questionable.....particularly when Jesus is the qualifier of the Father's words.

The deepest human desire. - The longing to be safe at home.

Just to bounce off your second last question AJ, you have never said anything which would want me to come to Jesus AJ. Don't you think that is rather odd? Rattling on about your bible knowledge and the lack others have has no drawing power. All it does is tell me of your need to let others know...

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

Your desperate need to speak poorly of Steven and myself, ie built your defaming case on lies is clearly an indication of the spirit which motivates you.

Questioning is not a bad thing, particularly in the light of conflicting opinions. I would say that Steven's questioning does not mean he is in a dark place at all. At least he has the courage to flesh out where the various conclusions lead to considering many are willingly entrenched in...

Jack, the answer to your question is given in Jesus' story of Lazarus and the rich man.

    "A ticket to ride"

Yes, not holding a record of wrongs is God's M.O. The sheep and the goats thing, the wheat and the tares thing, the foolish virgins thing is one of self qualification as is the Revelation 6 thing where the planet is imploding and Jesus arrives on his rescue mission. The majority see a Lamb and...

I've concluded for myself that Jack has no interest in resolution. He gets off on never ending accusations, particularly false and distorted accusations. If there were no accusations for him to make, there might be no reason for him to participate.

The deepest human desire. - The longing to be safe at home.

Yeah yeah. In my early years that stuff generated some confusion but since it has settled in my understanding that Jesus genuinely likes me (even though the idea still blows me out) the translation stuff is not such an issue. Since being assured that Jesus is the ultimate authority makes me take...

The bible contains what percentage of 'ALL SCRIPTURE'? 2 Timothy 3:16

Interesting. I've never heard one even when I'm wrongly dividing.....at least according to some, and I must admit even according to myself. hmmx1:. I've too often used a crow bar instead of a scalpel.

The deepest human desire. - The longing to be safe at home.

Not intended to be cheap or mean, just direct and honest. I do understand this could be misunderstood and I take a risk that it is, but being Aussies as you say, take it on the chin and do a self honest evaluation. If it's true yet uncomfortable you have learned something. If it's not true then...
