    Difference?

I didn't bother reading all the responses because Adam and Eve were under no law, but received one commandment which they broke. The law is for the lawless and sinners. According to the scripture Adam and Eve were created "good", innocent and without sin, It was through Adam's transgression that...

    The Sabbath Day and Jesus

Pretty sure that most people on the planet haven't got a clue about the difference between the spirit of the law and the letter of the law. You need the Spirit to understand the difference. 7 But if you had known what this means, ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned...

    The Trinity definition

Your omniscience is amazing or your blasphemy is without limit. My words aren't scripture, they just paraphrase them. I could simply write everything I've said as quotes from scripture, but you've already denied the scriptures repeatedly. What would be the point? I can't make you less ignorant...

    The Trinity definition

Your argument is with scripture and its author, not with me.

    The Trinity definition

You do know that the letter to the Hebrews was written a long time after the resurrection and pentecost, right?

    The Trinity definition

Actually you neither understand me or scripture. That's okay, it's not actually possible for you to understand. You must be born again. Nowhere in these posts, on this website, or any other, have I ever said that the law is synagogue of satan, so once again you blaspheme God and His word for...

    The Trinity definition

Not really its imbecillic. Jesus was born a Jew under the law of Moses, and He was never a member of His own church while ministering to the Jews. The church didn't even exist yet. He came to fulfill the law as He said, and to establish a new covenant which according to scripture replaces the...

    The Trinity definition

When you teach that Christians are under the law, you are an enemy of the cross and do the works of the synagogue of satan.

    The Trinity definition

Moses had an assistant named Hoshea (or Oshea) the son of Nun. That servant became a biblical "type" of Jesus and so Moses called him Joshua. "Nun" translates as perpetuity. So the English equivalent of Joshua, son of Nun, is Jesus, son of perpetuity (son for eternity).

Crowley taught "Do as thou will shall be the entire law", but he made no pretense at being Christian. On the contrary, he engaged in activities of defiance to God, including rampant immorality and the drinking of blood. I have a great deal of respect for John MacArthur's scholarship, but on one...

    The Trinity definition

I guess that you have a really serious reading comprehension problem, but no where in these posts, or on any Christian or non Christian forum, or in a pulpit, or in any casual conversation have I or any born again Christian that I know, ever said that the law of Moses was abolished. I was...

How does everything fit together... the Birth of Jesus, and what follows !

There are actually 13 zodiac signs, but most of modern astrology ignores ophiucus (the serpent bearer.)

    The Trinity definition

All born again Christians do tend to take me seriously. The churches that I've served in and even taught in took me seriously as well. Those who love Christ and the truth also tend to take me seriously. It's only the cults that have a problem with the truth.

    The Trinity definition

So we get down to the truth at last. You reject scripture that doesn't conform to your misunderstanding of it. You must be born again. Paul taught about it, but Jesus said it first and without being born again you will never understand the scriptures, but that's already been said. Have a nice...

How does everything fit together... the Birth of Jesus, and what follows !

Gold a gift for a king, frankincense a gift for a priest, myrrh a substance used for preserving the dead in mummification a gift for a final sacrifice. I wouldn't be particularly concerned about gaps in the narrative of the Lords birth and childhood. The gospels aren't a biography, but provide...

    More about Salvation

Sounds like a James vs. Paul argument, but both were correct. Salvation is by faith, but faith without works is dead. Usually fruit trees produce fruit and I'm pretty sure that it's not by the effort of the tree. Don't get pruned if you can avoid it.

    The Trinity definition

Ok fine, but you should understand that scripture says that the carnal mind can not receive the things of the Spirit. This basically says that no amount of thinking will ever reveal spiritual truth to a carnal mind. So, there's another reason why we must be born again.

    The Trinity definition

Pretty much the way I see it. The Lord established order in the universe and that should be a reflection of His character, so why not of His being.

Good for you. Are you a teacher then?

    The Trinity definition

I understand all these things, yet they are all the works of God. Perhaps it's just a matter of the nature of progressive revelation. The miraculous signs that Jesus performed were works described in the OT as works of God, the works described as those of the Holy Spirit in the New Testament are...
