Pay to Pray eRosary from the Vatican

Then I recommend you find a board that has Sola Scriptura in it's belief statement / rules. Here does not.

If your definition of "Biblical" = "Protestant", then you'd be best suited elsewhere.

Actually I was highlighting your No True Scotsman argument. If it deeply bothers you that this board acknowledges non-Protestants as being Christians, you will probably be much happier on another forum.

So just as long as they are close enough to your personal theological beliefs that they get your personal stamp of approval *rolls eyes*

Also, if you want to only discuss things with a particular brand of Protestants, you'll probably feel more comfortable in one another boards out there that caters to your specific theological group. This forum does welcome many different groups.

    Note: I'm not Catholic.

But the HOW any telling is done is critical. Too often people use the "defending the Gospel" as an excuse to be prideful, discard charity, attack others, treating people as objects, etc. That is not God's way. That is a tinkling cymbal.

Pay to Pray eRosary from the Vatican

Remember: 1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains...

Pay to Pray eRosary from the Vatican

The problem is when "standing up for the Gospel" becomes an excuse to violate the second Great Commandment. Rather we are to honor BOTH Great Commandments. It's important to treat all people respectfully and with kindness, even (arguably especially) when there's disagreements about believes...

Why do so many oppose imputed righteousness?

In both cases: A person is justified by faith. As a disciple of Christ as person is tasked with following Him. At no point does the disciple of Christ have a license perform acts contrary to His will. When that does happen, the person repents. Over time they become more like Him, stopping...

Why do so many oppose imputed righteousness?

That's literally the same picture with different wording.

Why do so many oppose imputed righteousness?

But they are still wheat and still growing :)

Why do so many oppose imputed righteousness?

Every good seed in good soil produces good fruit, agreed? People whom don't believe in justification/sanctification being two separate things are simply looking at the whole picture, rather than subdividing it out into seed then later there'll be a tree. You don't have to be a full blown...

Why do so many oppose imputed righteousness?

There's whole swaths of people that read the Bible and hear God and salvation explained as being one lifelong journey, rather than separated out into justification and sanctification.

Why do so many oppose imputed righteousness?

Again, I think the core of this is you're seeing justification as a discrete one-time event, followed by sanctification. Whereas Guilano is seeing them together as the life long journey.

Why do so many oppose imputed righteousness?

I'm going to speak broadly first, then zoom in: - Every Christian I've ever spoken to believe that we are saved by Christ and faith in Him. (And I'm defining "Christian" extremely broadly here). - Likewise, every Christian believes the that a disciple of Christ should strive to follow Him...

    Freemasonry

Everyone here is going that, including Grailhunter and you. Grailhunter is simply placing more emphasis on point 3 and 4. You seem to think that threatens point 1.

    Freemasonry

Let's break this down: Point 1) Advocating for Truth is good thing. Everyone agreed? Point 2) We are commanded to love our neighbor. Agreed? Point 3) We can stand for Truth without being a jihadist or jerk. It is very possible to stand for Truth while being kind to one another. Agreed...

    Freemasonry

I completely agree on this point.

And what are you trying to have worked here?
