There Remains No Sacrifice For Sins

This has to do with the fact that those who are truly God's children have been sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14, Ephesians 4:30, 2 Corinthians 1:22, 2 Corinthians 5:5) and therefore they will not leave Him or depart from Him. He places His fear within His true children so that they...

    Biblical Salvation

That is incorrect. Those who believe not are "condemned already" (John 3:18) and therefore do not have their names written in the Book of Life.

    Fear of Failing

"Fear of falling" is a healthy thing, that will help you to stay in the faith so that you will not depart from the Lord. It is the key to eternal security actually. Jer 32:38, And they shall be my people, and I will be their God: Jer 32:39, And I will give them one heart, and one way, that...

    Repentance necessary for salvation.

You have a problem with that post; but that post is 99% scripture and 1% exegesis.

    Repentance necessary for salvation.

It is unfortunate that your definition of that is not that you turn away from sin.

There Remains No Sacrifice For Sins

It seems to me that your argument is not with me but with the scripture in question (Luke 8:13). Specifically, the passage in question (Hebrews 10:26-31) is speaking of willful sins; not just any sin. Can someone be born of God apart from receiving the knowledge of the truth?

There Remains No Sacrifice For Sins

There are those who "believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away" (Luke 8:13).

“Repent of Sins” And Find Yourself Damned...

I know that I can have impure thoughts in moments when I am not abiding in Christ... However, for the most part, I am abiding in the Lord more and more as time goes on....those non-abiding moments have now become farther and fewer between. And I certainly will never deny that the blood of...

    Repentance necessary for salvation.

I prefer to keep my discussions in the public arena. That way, I am not wasting my energy on only one person; but in keeping my discussions public I am able to kill many birds with one stone.

    We must repent of sin.

You are evading the question because the answer will help me along in my argument; whatever the answer might be. I don't know what your answer is.....I am genuinely curious as to what it is.

    Repentance necessary for salvation.

Those who teach that we must turn from sin or else we are not saved are teaching according to the Bible. For we are born dead in trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2:1); and therefore if we are not going to be workers of iniquity, we must repent. It should be clear that workers of iniquity shall...

There Remains No Sacrifice For Sins

It is true. For we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand (Romans 5:1-2). And therefore, if we lose or throw away faith, we no longer have access to grace. And also, the righteousness of Christ within us is by faith from beginning to end and all the way through (Romans 1:17...

    Repentance necessary for salvation.

Again, this seems to be setting forth the idea that there are two Gods...one in the Old Testament and the other in the New. For if there is one God in the Old and New Testaments, then there is also one definition for repentance in both Testaments. The definition for repentance according to our...

    We must repent of sin.

"That's incredible!" There was a television series in the 1980's that gave real live instances where things that we don't find credible, yet had a basis in reality. If you believe in one God in the Old and New Testaments, just say so; and we will go from there.

    We must repent of sin.

Repentance necessary for salvation. (see the OP; where I quote a passage and expound on what it says, with pure and true exegesis).

    We must repent of sin.

To me, your posts are vague and they do not say very clearly what you believe. I have read them, and yet I also have no idea what it is that you think I should know from reading them.

    We must repent of sin.

Personally, I don't think that you would disagree with the concept that the God of the Old and New Testaments are the same God. Because you would knowingly be disagreeing with sound doctrine. However, your other doctrines seem to imply that you believe in two different Gods in the Old and New...

    We must repent of sin.

Can someone have the mind of Christ and yet do something as though they have the mind of the flesh? If they do according to the mind of the flesh, are they not walking according to the mind of the flesh? Therefore, do they not have the mind of the flesh? One must change their direction, at...

    We must repent of sin.

Does this mean that if you think you are justified, you should also think that there is no need for repentance?

    We must repent of sin.

Why don't you tell us what you think on the matter?
