    The context of Colossians 1:16 is about all authority that was created by the Christ. Not the all creations planets etc..., that was created by God.

    1.) Do you have a verse that says Jesus had to be both God and man to be the mediator? 2.) I can't get to your question as to why the grave could not hold him because I can't get past the fact that God can't die.

    Well, because I believe Jesus is not God. So for me I have to try to figure out why anyone would want him to be God. There's nothing in the Scriptures that gives any reason for him to be God which is why nobody can find a verse.

    I can give you a verse or 5 on that He likes worship. My question is an honest one. I want to know why so many Christians feel the need to believe Jesus is God. What's in it for them?

    Jesus is no mere man. He was the son of God. And now in his resurrected body God made him to be both Lord and Christ. That is not a mere man.
