Defending the Godhead (Trinity) & the Divine Nature of Christ

Again, lets deal with John 1:1. John 1:1 says the Word WAS God. John 1:1 says the Word was WITH God. WITH God. WITH God. WITH God. This cannot make any sense if Modalism is true. How can God (the Word) be WITH God and yet also be God if Modalism is true? It makes no sense.

Defending the Godhead (Trinity) & the Divine Nature of Christ

Again, you need to deal with the points I brought up in Scripture that demolishes Modalism.

Defending the Godhead (Trinity) & the Divine Nature of Christ

It does not matter what you think. The heart is deceitful and desperately wicked. It matters what the Bible says. I presented a fool proof case that demolishes Modalism and you have given no logical and reasonable answers to explain why your belief is true in light of what I said with Scripture.

Defending the Godhead (Trinity) & the Divine Nature of Christ

Yes, God does have a soul. But we cannot enforce a few verses about God having a soul as if that nullifies other verses that make it clear that there are distinctions of persons in the Godhead or Trinity. The points I brought up in Scripture cannot be ignored if your belief is remotely true...

Defending the Godhead (Trinity) & the Divine Nature of Christ

Yes. This is true. All three persons are one God and or they are connected as one God (1 John 5:7), but yet this one God also exists in a way that has three distinct persons. To deny this is to deny Scripture.

Defending the Godhead (Trinity) & the Divine Nature of Christ

Again, just read John 1:1. It says the Word was God. Then it says the Word was WITH God. How can the Word be God and yet also be WITH God? It makes no sense in Modalism.

Defending the Godhead (Trinity) & the Divine Nature of Christ

It’s not personal by any means. Labels only exist to help us to distinguish what kind of false belief it is. Do you not reject certain beliefs that are false that are attached with labels that help us to identify what they are? If not, then this means one would be a liberal, a ecumenist, or...

Defending the Godhead (Trinity) & the Divine Nature of Christ

If there are no distinctions of persons in the Godhead then the following does not make any sense. The Father Sent The Holy Spirit The Bible says that God the Father sent the Holy Spirit. Jesus said. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all...

Defending the Godhead (Trinity) & the Divine Nature of Christ

Without the Person of Jesus, the Atonement is denied. What Modalism is actually saying is that the separate person of Jesus Christ, the Son, is not real and never died on the cross because He does not exist. A separate Person does not exist. Only the Father (or Almighty God) exists and changes...

Defending the Godhead (Trinity) & the Divine Nature of Christ

This sounds like Modalism (Which is false). This is the false belief that says that there are no different persons of the Godhead and God just puts on a mask and or takes on a title and that there are no distinctions of persons within the Godhead or Trinity. God is one God in three distinct...

Defending the Godhead (Trinity) & the Divine Nature of Christ

I am not forcing anything. It’s pure logical deduction. The Word was WITH GOD (John 1:1). The Word WAS God (John 1:1). The Word was made flesh (John 1:14). God was manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16). Jesus is called the Word of God in Revelation 19. There are three that bear record in...

How to go to Hell by trying to be good.

What is helpful in understanding 1 John 1:8 is looking at its immediate context. 1 John 1:10 says if we say we have not sinned. 1 John 1:10 switches gears from 1 John 1:8 in regards to time; John talks about the declaration on committing sin in verse 8 (which is present tense) to a declaration...

How to go to Hell by trying to be good.

I have not talked with any OSAS Christians who think that they must be sinlessly perfect in order for Eternal Security to be true. This means that when they sin, they are still saved and they have not lost their salvation and neither are they in any danger of hellfire. OSAS Christians or...

How to go to Hell by trying to be good.

Some here may slip in unfounded personal attacks, but both sides are ultimately speaking what they believe is God’s way of salvation. Unless you are a Universalist or a liberal, or a ecumenist, we cannot all be right when it comes to salvation. The test of whether one side is correct is if the...

How to go to Hell by trying to be good.

Anyone with any common sense can see you are speaking your own words not found in the Bible. Again, I can only encourage you to quote more the Bible in backing up your words, and to explain verses that I put forth to you that demolishes your belief. Right, this is where you believe your...

How to go to Hell by trying to be good.

I believe in grace for salvation just fine. For example: I actually reject water baptism for salvation because it falsely teaches that one needs to be water baptized to be initially saved. Believers are initially saved by God’s grace through faith without works (Ephesians 2:8-9). Ephesians...

How to go to Hell by trying to be good.

Hebrews 10:26 says, “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,” See that? You ripped the Bible out of context. So what is Hebrews 10:10, and Hebrews 10:12 talking about? The sacrifice of Christ in Hebrews 10:10...

The word “for” can be defined as “because” even according to older dictionaries which can be found at KingJamesBibleDictionary.com. See definition #14 at the following link: King James Bible Dictionary - Reference List - For Side Note: I believe one has to understand that the KJB does have...

How to go to Hell by trying to be good.

The Bible teaches only past sins are forgiven us (not future sins). Believers need to confess and forsake sin to continue to obtain forgiveness (or salvation). Here are the verses in the Bible that teach or imply that past sins only are forgiven: 2 Peter 1:9 KJB “But he that lacketh these...

How to go to Hell by trying to be good.

You said, I quote: “Find it in a BIBLE, if you own one. Romans 4:22-25” ~ Quote by Behold. Source quote. You made two false accusations by this statement. #1. You falsely imply that I may not own a Bible by your saying, “if you own one.” #2. You falsely imply that I never read Romans 4:22-25...
